I live in Canada my GP thought my lump was a ganglion on my ankle sent me for ultra sound I went for surgical biopsy found that I had PLEOMORPHIC liposarcoma after 25 radiation treatments. And going for surgery next week. The cancer is through my foot and Achilles’ tendon. It’s take just 4 months. And all my care is free. Just hope I don’t lose my foot. 🙁

I was told “ satellite lesions” on a thigh mass I have were no big deal and that “it was the wrong terminology”.... I also have a recurring giant cell tumor in my knee ( PVNS diffuse AND nodular).... why do these doctors continue to ignore this? I’m also a nurse.... still get blown off.

It's almost impossible in some provinces to get referrals to specialists even when people sweat all night and have multiple cysts in neck, groin, abdomen, serious platelet problems, frozen numb face, previous cancer, thyroid nodules, etc. Unfortunately no specialist will see patients without a referral either. I think that's because both diagnosis and treatment can be as brutal as dying from the disease and make things even worse and there is no guarantee it will help anyway.

I have a mass the size of a golf ball by my left rib stomach area. With pain in my back and under my rib. I've only had an ultrasound. Have a ct in 2 days. They think lipoma but it's grown quickly within a week. I'm afraid it's liposarcoma and that they won't know

I started getting consecutive bloody noses, repetitively getting weaker, losing appetite and drinking less. Soar throat, cough and got a cold, then i became ill. And after that 4 days ago i my left upper arm above my bicep started to swell a bit and hurt even though I hadn’t been on activities and didn’t pull my muscle either. So i’m going to the doctor tomorrow

I have read so much on Ewings Sarcoma, I think it can be genetic. ''Looking at tumour biopsies under a microscope some have specific DNA/gene abnormalities in tumour cells help us confirm diagnosis or provide prognostic information''
