I'm happy I found this video series. The breakdown of angle/peek advantage and how to scale up a path helped me get a better understanding of how to do it. I've been hardstuck in G3 and it's really because I haven't sought out to practice let alone learn these kinds of things. I'm going to continue watching this video series and hopefully apply these insights successfully lol

That plat angle is definitely visible from garage thats usually why I hold it wider to avoid getting spammed I can still hear long push but I can also more directly hold garage (only works if I’m not concerned about c link) it’s not a great angle if you don’t have garage control since it has two possible angles you have to hold

When I got out of silver, and was playing on gold… I felt like I was still lacking a lot of fundamentals and foundation to scale higher ranks. Throughout the experience it took a lot of time for me to understand peeking, slicing up the pie, gunfight hygiene. I also took time to watch other youtube videos vod reviews to also learn from. I managed to atleast get 20% learnings from it but far from enough and satisfied. Ever since Im stuck at gold 2 but i could feel like i can get to plat by just grinding but it wont get me higher. Thus, I lower my ego and try to reinforce my fundamentals by watching this series. NGL i only first watched the gold part but going back to the roots made a lot more sense and I was able to comprehend the concepts faster. It only goes to show how lacking my foundation are and now I’m more willing to learn and correct mistakes and bad habits. I would definitely would like to get coach from you but its unfortunate due to circumstance. I’ll be learning from your yt videos then. Thank you very much, please continue doing your work! Much Appreciated!

I've watched so much gd banana and wish i had seen this particular video so much sooner. I have been working on making sure i stay moving between shots but the angle distance bit was a huge boost. Thanks banana. Do you think there is any issues with holding A/D and releasing the A if you want to move right and releasing D if you want to move left as opposed tto releasing keys between? I feel like the hard stop feels much better than the deceleration of just releasing key and when i release D with an A press the window to shoot feels nonexistent.

One question I have is, I didn’t quite understand the 180 thing, im gonna rewatch it after writing this, but it seemed like you wanted a smooth(?) movement for 180s? Ihave a pretty low sens, which is fine except my mousepad is like “average”, but even that’s sometimes too small. I know the simple solution is to raise my sens, but I intend on getting a bigger mousepad anyway, so I don’t know if I should be (For reference, .23 sens, 800dpi) Because of my mousepad, “smooth” 180s is kind of impossible for me, so it tends to jitter, but I’m aware of that problem, and so I’d like to think I position myself in a way that I (ideally) won’t have to 180 too much. Obviously it’s something you can’t avoid, but since my options are that or raise my sens, that’s what I’m doing Not sure if any of that made sense

The scenario you've supplied is far too general for me to give a precise answer. Try to strive for a general understanding of when a certain type of peek is applicable, as opposed to building a long list of good ways to peek every single angle on every single map.

question about angle advantages, since I'm not sure if it's universal but I'm very curious about it after watching your video... If you and an enemy are staring at the same edge of a wall with your crosshair, at the same height, but at opposite sides, the first player that will appear on the other's crosshair (even if the difference is very minor) is the one furthest away from that edge?

Hey this is super late but he means that if you put your crosshair RIGHT next to the corner that the enemy will peek from, humans don't have the reflexes to shoot and hit an enemy, specifically if they wide peek or are just running around the corner. So it's better to put your crosshair "wider" aka farther from the corner wall so you have some reaction time to hit the enemy
