You can still do the melee bug against oryx so you both go flying back but oryx loses it because he gets hit back for longer and he is also more likely to be alone. Which means if the people playing shields know that, you only really counter extended Monty.

Crouch when they have an opening to shoot your legs, and keep them center on your screen. If you keep this position you’ll be near impossible to shoot
