Jamal always been a bad pg. Low IQ and horrible shots. He doesn't get in the paint enough or make 3s curling off a screen. He tries too many deep step backs. Luka numbers are better this year but his fans know he was better each year prior to this for same reasons

The Wolves defense is just something man. Like sure the wolves make it hard to score, but the defense also just gets into the opponent’s head. The opponent just can’t get into any of their sets comfortably and they often have to play out of the set. They also have to resort to screens in the backcourt or offball to get mismatches and even if you do that, a mismatch from McDaniels to Walker or ant or Reid isn’t much better. They know as soon as you let Denver get into their sets/2 man game and get into a rhythm, it’s likely over so don’t let them get into a rhythm or their sets. Thing is, I’d imagine this aggressive pressure defense might be tiring out MN too so I’m curious how long they could sustain it for.

Dude, I was watching the Live game and the Nuggets guards are suffocated by the Minnesota defense. Holyyyy, Jamal looks like an average player there, which is something I wouldn't dare say in a playoff game

NBA refs changed the way they make calls from the regular season to the NBA playoffs. They are allowing much more contact and aggression on the ball, it's exactly what makes the Wolves look unbeatable. They want it more WAY MORE and the reffing is rewarding this attitude. It's pleasant to see and we can tell the Nuggets were not ready for this change. I wonder if Denver will be able to grow enough during the series, it's not a talent issue, it's the will-to-win problem. Jokic seemed a little off in press conference, I'm not sure he has it anymore. However, if for any reason that only the NBA knows, we're back to season regular calls, we can very likely see a comeback.

The nuggets have the most complex offense in the league built on counters to counters that's why their offensive rating doesn't show how good their offense is. i thought they would sweep or win in 5 after the first game too.

I do not think we will ever see a healthy NBA Playoffs. Predicting a winner from the West is virtually impossible. So many "great" players, playing well past their primes, and we are labeling their team contenders? Of the 12 teams with the best championship odds last October, only 3 teams are still standing. That should tell you something.
