Me: "I can tell, we need those scans, you're holding up everyone." Caller: "I don't know what's wrong, it seems to be the same problem as before." Me: "Did you charge it?" Caller: "Yes, but now it stopped working again." Me: "Put it back in the charger. Then scan manually." Caller: "I've never done that, how do I do that?" Me: "Just like we did yesterday, we did it twice."

@@Ackalan I had an internship at a small repair shop when I was young. One day we got a call about the internet not working and after a short session of trouble shooting over the phone, we headed to the customer's house. Turns out the lady removed the cables for cleaning and when the ethernet cable didn't fit _into_the_USB_port_, she pushed so violently that the center separator bend away and she eventually got it in there. At first we didn't even realize what was going on, we just reached behind the computer and wiggled the cable, but it was firmly stuck in what we assumed was the LAN port. After telling her that she destroyed her USB ports by forcing in the wrong cable, she just replied that "it always went there". We plugged the ethernet cable into the LAN port, installed a USB-extension card that we had lying around in the car and just headed off, didn't even charge her.

@@DissociatedWomenIncorporated TLDR Watch other skits with Ben in them and it may make sense. every other skit with Ben in it ends with some kind of argument and negativity most with Ben being unhappy. So with this one ending with him content and happy was backwards from normal.

That was so good, genuinely had no idea where it was heading.

Adam at the very end is my favorite part of this. That little flinch, like he touched something that was just _wrong_ is so evocative.

Even the music is played backward. I love their attention to details

Well done, especially to sticking to speaking backwards at the end in the end which is the way it should have started.

I obviously have been watching too much Bored because I knew EXACTLY where the joke was going the first time he said backwards compatible lol 😂 Also, Rowan's uncanny ability to show up out of nowhere and be on the exact same wavelength as Ben while simultaneously confusing the hell out of his employees is beyond legendary!

I am ever so confused on that dialogue, and it's done so smoothly.

Missed a chance for Ben to give Adam a backhanded compliment.

That bit at the end where Adam goes "What are they on about", starts trying it for himself and then realizes it's better to just not get infected with da crazies, is the best.

I can't imagine how many takes it took for the handshake let alone the backwards and opposite dialogue!! In fact.. there is only one explanation.. Rowan and Ben ARE in fact backwards-handed... (Just kidding of course.. it's just pure talent from this amazing team!) 👏

My guess is one of the actors wanted to use one of the backwards maneuvers or voices in a sketch. This was inspiration for the complete sketch. Incidentally, if I wanted to support backwards mice in Linux, I would change the driver for /dev/mouse to arbitrarily rotate and scale mouse moves. I don't do Windows system level software, so to make a windows mouse backwards compatible, I would use an Arduino with both USB in and out. It would be easy to flip the signs on X and Y.

That backwards handshake was incredible!

I thought this wasn't going to be shown until a month ago. Glad to see that it's early!

Actually using a mouse backwards is quite a useful skill for gamers to have. If there’s certain situations where the mouse is the wrong way but they need to quickly use the mouse during a battle, they’ll be able to use the mouse backwards and use the right side of their palm to click the left mouse. It takes a while to get use to, but if you keep practicing using that technique and then master it, you’ll have both options to choose from. It’s like a tactical manoeuvre in certain games, where you use the mouse the standard forwards way, but when the Situation calls for it, flip the mouse the other way round and use it backwards.

As a lefty I do find this funny but the problem I've always found with left handed stuff is that by the time I've found out about it I've got used to right handed stuff. I have a left handed mouse with buttons on the right of the mouse and I've never used them even though I play lots of games where a forth button would be useful. I found out left handed cheque books were a thing long after the last cheque I ever wrote.

I'm also left-handed and yeah it's funny sometimes thinking of all the things I was basically forced to learn how to do with my non-dominant hand, only to find out years later I had alternatives. Computer mice, manual can openers and scissors being the big stand-outs.

I tried a left handed notebook once way too weird. I thought all left handers used their right hand for the mouse. I was baffled when a friend moved the mouse to the other side. I do find being left handed and scrolling with my right gives me an advantage. I can take notes and scroll at the same time. Right handed scissors are bitch to use.

I now cannot unsee that Ben walked OUT of the store, backwards, but walked INTO the store, forwards.

That was not what I expected.

Love it! Rowan is always there with the right answer for the customer. Get with the program Adam! 😅
