When The Leaning Tower of Pisa Will Actually Fall Over
Here’s when the Leaning Tower of Pisa will actually fall over!
Thankfully, it isn’t going to be any time soon. The tower gets its distinctive lean from the soft soil underneath it, and it’s been on the brink of collapse multiple times in its over 600-year history.
However, thanks to modern preservation techniques, many experts believe it will still continue to stand for another 200 years at the very least.

It won't fall over because of all the tourists who keep taking photos of propping it up.

It won't fall over. If engineers can raise the whole city of Chicago several feet higher, building by building they can save the leaning tower

300. Our systems of counter-weights will keep the tower in place at 4 degrees for the next 300 years.
Well i'm guessing at least someone has to witness that
if you took a picture of the tourists taking photos holding the tower it just looks like a bunch of people posing like power rangers
I highly doubt that they'll just let it go on for 200 years and fall over they'll just keep updating what supports it while having it maintain its lean that made it famous in the first place
ive been there when i was a kid great memories

Sadly i won't witness the tower fall over
The tower will NEVER fall over EVER because the people will make sure of that.
“Here’s why the leaning tower of pisa will fall over” “Thankfully it wont happen anytime soon”
I love a video called "here is why" and then they don't tell you why
I can’t wait for the day when someone just pushes that tower once and it just falls over lol.

I feel like we should preserve it. We are preserving decay. For money. It's weird. Either put it in a safe place, straight and steady, if you need to preserve the architecture and history. Or, if you want to preserve the leaning part then pet it lean and let it fall. It's so weird that we preserve it at just the acceptable point of falling over and just keep it there so we can take pictures.
Proceeds to say "here's why" but yet doesn't explain why
Literally in a nutshell not even 20 seconds lol
Thank you.👍

It’s funny hear about Pisa Tower when you life in Pisa city . It’s much smaller that I expected but still nice
A object will fall over when a line drawn from its point of mass to its base gets outside the object

That assumes that the tower is one unbreakable piece. Whereas the LToP is masonry and mortar, and has a relatively heavy bell housing on top, so it is like to crumble rather that just tople over.
In 200 yr i believe out technology will grow enough to help tower stay longer
It will fall over but won't fall over soon because some people think it won't fall over soon. So interesting.
Love this corporate art style
I could imagine Pizza face, snatcher and Ghost pirate chasing all three of them down.
The tower is not leaning because of soft soil. It would sink evenly then. It's actually leaning because the upper end was built on a peer and the lower end on the harbour bassain. There are several similar cases all over Europe, e.g. the Strasbourg Cathedral.
Whaaaat 600 years I did not know it was that old. 😳
I'm sure it contributes to considerably more tourist money than it costs to maintain, so yeah it'll last as long as preservation methods can hold it together.
With another 200 years of technological advancements I doubt it.
It startet leaning from soft soil when it was built, yes. But to preservate it, they litterly just replaced the soil with stone
Pretty sure they actually sat it further up once already, if it starts to lean too far they'll just sit it up again.
The soft soil wasn't the only problem. When it was build it was done so with an insufficient foundation which was a result of budget cuts and 'cutting corners' to skrimp on spending. They knew the foundation was insufficient but did it anyway and 'hoped for the best'.
They permanently fixed that
People have been saying this and have been providing evidence as to why FOR SO MANY YEARS that I don’t believe it anymore!
Don’t you mean the crumbling tower of pizza?
and to this day we have still have no clue why it will fall over one day
“Here’s why” proceeds to not say why
With future technology I think it'll stand for another 400
Bets on it falling this year.
What about the leaning tower of San Francisco?
I will be sad knowing I won't be there for the impossible fall
I remember when they fixed the issue. Must be old.
200 years later: Tower *falls* Human:"oh no anyways" *calls the construction to rebuild the tower*
that doesnt explain anything
Imagine one day the soil is so loose under the tower and some dude just trips and pushes the whole tower over lol
This is just straight up not true. A. It doesn’t have soft soil under it. B, it was caused from the height and construction. The reason I know this is false is because of the centre mass. If you draw a direct line up, from the bottom to the top it stays in the tower. This is the reason it physically (and scientifically) will probably not fall down.
Shrek is love 🤎 shrek is life ✨.
Waiting for the pizza tower comments to start appearing

The crumbling tower of pisa
Earthquake: unless....
i honestly don’t believe that humanity will even be around for another 200 years so…
Hasn't Superman already straightened the building before?
They placed some supports to make it not fall
It’s not a mistake it’s a master piece
I think in the next 200 years we’d figure out how to fix it
In the future its called “the collapsed tower of pisa”
If me and the boys attempt to push it over its not gonna stand for 200 years
I want to visit the tower so I can pose as if I’m pushing it over.
It won't fall, it's fixed in that position new because of modern engineering. The soil doesn't matter anymore, they mixed it with a much more stable compound
It’s not a joke, it’s a hazard
Title: its gonna fall over him: telling us why it wont fall over 🤔
It stands because of extreme damage control , secured foundation and internal structures
I give it 100yrs and the earth wont even be here.
Oh no! Our tower! It's broken!
They can fix the lean, but they won't because it's a tourist attraction.
Just use a bunch of steel supports... And then it will be the steeling tower of Pisa!
I mean they've already stabelized it... In the 90s :| It's good for at least the next 300
Why will it fall over? I think I missed that part.
I love the part where he explains why the tower will fall.
How do you know everything
That was a nothing burger, good job!
Just Let Me fall already Hoomans!
Don't know y people appreciating a tower that doesn't stand properly
You can't prove that, stuff can always happen
aw so I won't be alive to see it tumble.
Bet it "is" gonna be sometime soon
You said, “here’s why,” but never actually said why it WILL fall over.
in 2222 it will fall over according to experts apparently
I'm first...i think 🙂
DEBUNKED! It will stay up indefinitely!
There was another youtuber that mentioned it's been self correcting for the last decade
Where is the answer to the unasked question posed in the title and intro of this vid? I can't find the conclusion to the 'Here's why' part. You tell us why it is leaning, but not why it will fall. The restauration of the 90s erected the building by more than one degree. Of course anything will eventually fall. It is called entropy, but howit stands now it is more likely it will start to lean lessin the future than more.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembered the restoration project.
I'm gonna push it
Me still waiting for why it will fall💀
Fun fact, the inside is straight and not leaning
I Austria where i live i can think that this would not be allowed and had to be destroyed lol
So... why is it?
Wasn't this named tower of Giza
oh my grandchilds will see it
Just build another
So your saying the tower will fall down during the 200 years later events of fallout..?
K. But you didn't tell us why. Only that it will continue to stand for another 200 years.
It won't fall. I will hold it up
😎
You didn't explain why it will fall over you just said when
Why does that tower is lean anyway ???!!!!!
It’s not called the falling tower of pisa it’s the leaning tower of pisa so it will lean forever
It will not fall over. They won’t let it.
He never says why it will eventually fall?
It got stabalised in this way... Tourist trap
