When The Italians Lost Their Mind And Built A 300HP MONSTER!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Beast Of Turin, Goodwood, FIAT S76
Over a hundred years ago, the German Karl Benz brought to the world what is now considered one of the first cars that became available in the market for the general public, the so-called Benz Patent-Motorwagen, in 1888. Back then, with three wheels and a dream, the car had a max speed of 10 Miles/h or 16 km/h respectively, which is slightly above what the average person can run.
It wasn’t a car for people that really wanted to feel the wind, to say the least-with that speed, you might as well travel on a horse-pulled carriage.
As expected, however, engineers and car lovers took on the challenge to change that. And fast, because it was much more fun to spur these metal beasts to run free.
In today's video we look at A 300HP MONSTER. Keep watching to see The Beast of Turin Goodwood with the biggest engine from 1911 simply the Fiat Beast of Turin.

I did not get to 67 by being overly reckless. No thanks.

Does my head in everytime I watch these videos and people get excited at the HP numbers of these old record breakers. The HP numbers are nothing, yes even for that time. However, massive capacity engines have massive torque. And it's the torque figures of these monsters that is really impressive...... And the Beast had over 2500Nm of them!!!!!

Dude, you're spot on about the torque on those record breakers. The Beast is a torque monster with those 2500Nm!
