Was it hard not to put baby Occy in the van and take him with you. I loved Max and Occy jumping on the stone ledge and walking along. What a great adventure. When he was standing on side of road taking to lady with all the allpacs- did you notice occy come running down the hill? He was being chased by a alpaca! I laughed

I’ve watched a lot of vanlife KZread channels and you guys are by far my favourite, and I only find you guys a week ago. You’re so relatable and raw where I find other vanlife channels very “Hollywood like” and make it out to be so glamorous and perfect. What made me fall in love with you Guys was the fact you said in one of your videos “travelling isn’t always fun and games” (something along those lines) which I 100% agree sometimes you need a few days to just relax and do nothing or change your diet ect ect. Keep up the great work guys xx

Each weeks video has it's ups and downs as I would expect from van life, but having mum there for a last few days has lifted both Max and Lee, even when there was fuel starvation,things were not too bad,a great positive impact. A complete joy to watch seeing the joy and love inside the van.

Lee !! You at the end ... ‘ohhhh!’ Watched it 10 times made me laugh so much! The outtakes are brilliant keep them! Love you guys and occy! X

MAX - thank you for explaining what you did before the mechanic. I know it seems like a small thanks, but i actually learned from that, about the clogs. its nice that you dont just say oh we got it fixed and move on, you actually always teach us no matter what (even not just mechanic stuff) and I truly enjoy that. Also, your mom is a true gem! you are blessed! Lee- you always look beautiful even when you just wake up :) and omg baby Occy!!!

Amazing video as always

Another wonderful inspiring vlog and to be able to share it with your adventurous and open minded mum is an absolute bonus. Thirty years ago {1989) I was driving my 1969 VW campervan from Cusco to Arequipa alone along a then dirt road up to 5000 mtrs (flat out at 5km/hr due to the lack of oxygen for my engine). I also remember breaking down on several occasions due to bad fuel. But I have an absolutely amazing story which I would like to share with you. I drove to the headquarters of VW Brazil and I asked (in exchange for my photo-journalist pictures of my trip from Alaska to Sao Paulo) for a new engine. Amazingly two weeks later I drove away with a new engine, suspension, CV joints and a bunch of other smaller things and sponsorships to continue the rest of my journey through South America and Europe where the van was stolen in Seville Spain (no insurance - lost everything! Absolute disaster that words cannot describe!) in fact, while I was eating in a little eatery in Arequipa two guys tried getting into my van and stealing it but luckily a local shooed them away. I hope these things don't happen to you! The freedom felt and enjoyed on that journey has been food for my brain ever since! As it will be for yours no matter what happens. And yes sometimes the traumatic moments are what you will remember most. Good luck with your journey as I will be following you through the rest of AMAZING South America.
