Glad to see a mix up with not only Stalingrad but an offensive game as well. I find it weird how when I started playing HLL I hated offensive because it was unbalanced and linear, and then as I got more experienced I somehow learned to like it for that instead.

Personally, I find it more gratifying when the other team has a significant advantage and my team wins anyway. Sort of like taking Pavlov’s House on this map. It’s super easy to defend, so when you capture it, it’s awesome.

At level 307 I usually switch servers if offensive comes up. I dislike it unless playing attack recon (best way to play it) or fortifying one of the points on defense with an army of engineers as engineer or support - can be fun as hell holding off the point your team fortified so well.

You are one hell of a commander and team play. Most commanders stay back from the action

I enjoyed your tips the SLs about taking the house from the south. Would be cool in whatever next videos you have of kinda pausing on the map for a given point and share your thoughts on where good garry locations would be, where enemy may be pushing, and appropriate attack routes you see. I think that's the biggest gap i have, is more of the advanced theory and gaining the intuition

I really like watching your videos. I don't play commander but I love playing recon so it is nice to know what the commander is thinking of so I can preempt what needs to be done. Thx

Played this map yesterday with the exact opposite of what you had. Neither the commander nor the officers were communicating whatsoever, and as the Russians on defense, we got steamrolled! It was probably the quickest game I’ve ever played.

Very much like what they have done with El Alamein, I hope every map gets the historically correct load out treatment. I love the map, but it’s so weird seeing G43s, MP44s and Panthers rolling around.

Why? Its still just a game we dont care about the weapons that was used in which map/battle as long they have the right weapons for the right nations

@@speedy8501 this game isn’t just another standard arcade shooter. It is much more realistic in a lot of senses than CoD or Battlefield. Plus, they already set a precedent with El Alamein by having historically relevant loadouts. The devs clearly want to do that, so they should. Whenever they get around to releasing the small Polish map for the 50 player gamemode, it would be asinine to have the MP44 there.

Love the content, as always. Have you thought about finishing your advanced commander tutorials? The manpower video helped grow a lot as a commander

Yes, it just takes a long time and I have not had time. And the video I made seemed to do no better than videos that take just a few hours, so it's like spending 20+ hours to make $3, but I'll get it done. Really the manpower tutorial is mostly all you need. I think munitions and fuel can be combined into one video. I try to make each video educational in some way though, there is a lot of little things that I could cover, but the video would be very long, take forever to make and probably be a very niche audience.

Really cool, but I feel like you are playing another game haha. Running in the middle and chilling, driving your truck near the point, etc. Every time I try to run in the open like that I get instantly killed xD

Playing offensive as commander is so much less stressful than warfare. Especially as I’m on console.

As a commander, I notice you’re mostly driving supply trucks around the maps dropping supplies. My question is when you run out of supplies in your truck do you drive all the way back to spawn to get more supplies or do you just spawn a new truck at HQ to save time?

Nice play. Good demo on what the Commander should be doing. Too many Commanders unwilling to get in the supply truck. I notice you're on the PC, unfortunately this game is truly broken for us console players after it was put on freepass it's been overrun by newbies with no mic, low level officers who don't know how to place an outpost let alone a garrison and just a general lack of understanding for the game mechanics and basic tactics.

anyone else got an issue on Xbox where when you play Kursk or Stalingrad, the game always crashes with a memory error every single time???
