@@slaane377 Once Nick turns into a criminal, he doesn't use a badge, he just holds up an empty hand. At least that's what I've seen.

To be fair, Hardline was ment to emulate the typical, tv cop thriller / drama that was all the rage at the time (usually lasting only a season) and I think they nailled it.

This is actually one of the most memorable game cutscenes (for me). It's such a hilarious moment when he smashes through the window, nobody knows what to do, and then he's dragged back out, lol.

Odd, I played BF: Hardline, the full story, and didn't remember this cutscene but remember a lot of the other things from first chapters and last chapters...

*Hot Take:* Hardline was my favorite Battlefield game and a severely underrated gem, not only because of the Cops-and-Robbers action movie theme, but also because you could play on larger vehicle maps without fear of being blown up by tanks lurking around every corner.

Some excellent first-person camera work here! It actually looks and feels like there's a body attached, and not just a floating pair of arms like in most FPS games.

Both Hardline and 2042 had bad launches but Hardline just didn't have as many people to keep it alive, most battlefield fans went back to BF4 before the devs fixed it. Both are great games but it was only after months of patches. A shame really

I played Hardline from launch and I don't remember having any issues (at least, compared to 2042 which was disastrous) But like you said, people just preferred to go back to BF4 because the majority agreed to hate on Hardline for not being military oriented and felt small compared to the previous game. I understood the sentiment, but the hate was undeserved.

This Is One of the best cutscene ever made in a video game. The soldier looking at you After Mendoza Smash the Window Is the perfect way to describe the insanity of the situation. It seems that all the people that are in the cutscene, from the pilot of the helicopter to the enemies, are all sayng "WTF is going on?" Like the protagonists 😅 really underrated story mode! unlike other game, Hardline had a soul and a clear identity. Really deserve more consideration!

I refuse to believe ALL of the main characters would survive that ordeal.

Its even funnier if you hit what is typically the 'Arrest' button in the game. Your character will then let out a questioning "uhhh, freeze?" Before getting yanked back out the window

That helo crash is legit one of the most impressive in a video game. Also, whenever I played this, I could always feel that tug around the waist from the harness when the wire goes taut thanks to some rock climbing, hah

Hardline had one of the coolest campaigns ever, it plays out like a TV show and it’s so cool.

BFH was part of my childhood. Forever

at the end you can see the pilot run out from the wreak.

I love hard line its one of the best battle fields out there.

I honestly like how with Hardline they made it so the game wasn't meant to mimic IRL policing, it literally both works in an episodic fashion and clearly states it's meant to base itself off hollywood (tv and movie) policing. Good game would play again.

Yeah, the missions were called episodes and if you quit the game and play again later, it says "Previously on hardline" that blew my mind

Hardline's multiplayer after its release was sooooo much fun, it may be my favorite Battlefield multiplayer experience I cannot lie

One of the most underrated bf games, its up there as one of my favourites it got roo much hate for moving away from the soldiers and to the Cops/Robbers area. It also has some of my favourite game modes in the series

Judging by the game being a spin-off of the franchise famous for people jumping off fighter jet and shooting enemy jet with RPGs or using C4 to make tank fly across buildings. This is normal.

I think it’s pretty funny how you can tell the room full of guys to freeze. Made me burst out laughing when I first played it

This has the vibe of that scene in one of the Transporter movies where Jason Statham flips a car and hits a crane just right to scrape a bomb from the underside of his car. I wish I could suspend disbelief for a few seconds to enjoy stuff like this, but it’s difficult to pretend my brain doesn’t work.

I remember playing this and thinking how stupid it was and how much it felt like a ride from Universal in Florida

Funniest part about this is when you crash through the window you can hit the freeze button and your guy just pulls out a badge for a split second.

I love how funny this game is. It's literally meant to be a goofy Miami Vice kinda thing, and it pulls it off so well. Also, that tower is shaped like The Marker from Dead Space.

What movies and games didn't care is that those glass windows on those buildings are strong as a concrete walls, and when you smash into it is unlikely gonna break through the building, it'll be more like throwing a tomatoe at the wall

I've never played any Battlefield game before and i was planing to start with Hardline just for the reason you just said, i wish there more games like this too. This is the only Battlefield campaign I legitimately enjoyed. Probably because it was actually filled with really entertaining moments like these. Reminded me of Call of Duty campaigns which moments like these are what makes them so good
