I see a lot of people have questions. I've responded to some but I'll pin this for clarification ONCE are kind of protective of TWICE in this matter because there was an issue back in 2018 where k-netz bashed MOMO, MINA, and SANA for speaking Japanese during their VLIVE. If you watch TWICE VLIVES, SANA often translates what she says to Korean when people asks about it or when she just wants to share what she said to Korean ONCEs. Maybe there really was a misunderstanding and the commenter just wanted to know what she was saying, but we won't really know what their intention is. I recommend people to just comment respectfully to the members so it won't raise any misunderstanding in the future. I hope this helps :) And please VOTE for TWICE on SMA!!! Thank you

The way that TWICE has clapped back against haters is something that should be encouraged, 100%. It's how they preserve mental health, and have the constant reinforcement that the bad comments will always be drowned out by the number of comments who support them.

@@powr_24 Sorry, but in Korean, the way that question was asked, it is definitely more on the rude side (closer to the feeling of "why the heck are you talking like this?"). Now, even saying that rudely does not a hater make, granted. But, given the background that Sana has been in trouble/controversy for posting about ANYTHING Japan (such as posting a congratulatory message when the Japanese dynasty had turned a few years ago), Sana + Japanese definitely has a deeper context than normal now, unfortunately.

The person said that Sana has been in controversy for anything to do with Japan. So that explains it. Don't spread rumors and bad mouth her with knowing what actually happened. I believe she's old enough to understand what's rude and visa versa.

Moreover, its also possible that said person said it multiple times. Sana was able to pick it out from the hundreds of comments per second, after all.
