@@JohnSmith-hj8pg Spot on. It may be that Stan loved passive-agressive players like Djok, i.e. guys who think Stan is no baseline player, and who will hit 3 or 4 rally shots before going for a breaking shot. Stan will set them up on his 2nd shot, or simply zap them with his backhand as soon as he sees an opening.

Stan is just all out aggression, take no prisoners, hitting lines, brute forcing the opponent to retreat. It doesn't make sense that it's possible to play like that, it's beyond real. Roger is what I imagine topping what is humanly possible with creativity and aggression, Stan doesn't seem to be human here. But he is, that's probably why he couldn't do that on 20 occasions like Roger, but 3. Still, when in zone, he's the best ever.

The only man to have hit through Djoker's signature defense...MULTIPLE TIMES. Absolute king, I'll forever stan the stanimal. Dude is the only reason I persisted with tennis in my early 20s despite all the adversity associated with starting the sport so late in life. Now I've got a huge serve, massive forehand, and reliable one hander.

Very few, if any at all, makes baseline slogging look as beautiful to watch as Stan does. There are players you are afraid to rank within all players. You just don't know exactly where to rank them based on their ability. Based on trophies, records and rankings it is easy. But Stan just shatters all of that by pointing his finger at what looks like 'see how tennis can mix muscle, timing, precision & grace'. No one, I at least saw NONE, make this mix taste as delicious as Stan did. These are players that provide you with the visual feast of hard-hitting tennis you can savour for ages.

Due to some reason some player bring their top game against another. Like Novak always seems to bring his A-game against Nadal in hard-courts. Nadal in turn is always confident playing against Federer. Likewise, Stan always brings his top game and is extremely motivated playing against Novak. More importantly, after few close attempts like one very important 5-setter in AUS Open, Stan seems to have find the magic sauce against Djoko. Infact, Djoko it seems fear facing Stan as seen in his few recent matches. And, Novak has that strange look of either already-lost or extra smile, even when there is a chance of winning, in his recent matches against Stan.

It’s like Boxing, it’s all about styles, styles make fights as is the case with Tennis! There’s no doubt that Stan’s style of play ( when he’s on form that is, and that’s not always a Guarantee!!) can give Novak problems. However I don’t believe that means that Wawrinka has the Jinx over Djokovic, or that he’s always likely to Win these matches. I believe that the Head to Head between these two Titans is close, but on a day to day basis, I would have to pick Novak because of his sheer Consistency!!
