@@jaredlancaster4137 contrary to popular belief, Jimi Hendrix didn't usually play his guitar upside down. What he did was he restrung a right handed guitar to become left handed and the had to learn how to play the restrung right handed guitar, (now left handed) upside down (i.e right handed) when he played for his father because his father believed playing left handed was Evil and anyone who played left handed was of the devil. The more you know🤓

His thumb is made out of titanium, I swear.

I went to that blues club (in Chicago) on vacation with my mom once. In a break I asked if I could sit in. They said sure. Did make me wait til the end of the night. Larry was so chill about it, very kind. They asked me what I'd like to play so started on If You Want Me To Stay. Had the best damn time playing and Larry was jamming out with my mom and grabbed her phone and came and filmed me. I swear that was one of my favourite musical memories, all 'cause this funky slap monster was also down to earth.. and the fact that he plays a right handed bass upside down Jimi-style... that helped too.

Man, all this transcription stuff takes a crazy long time, especially when transcribing a super complex bass solo like this. Great job to both of you!

And she stands there not really knowing what you did but knowing that it looked like a lot of work and sounded cool.

What I love about this is that, because he's playing left-handed and upside-down, you can match the tabs to his hand movements.

I love how the keyboard player looks like he is running the roulette table at an upscale casino while all this craziness is happening next to him.
