Heechul is not toxic. He teases but he is good natured and kind. That is why he is well loved and respected. A toxic person could be someone who speaks kindly but has agenda & can easily turn people against you by playing victim. A narcissistic person is a classic toxic person. Heechul isn’t one.

I always forgot that Heechul is also a veteran in Kpop because of his image, he looks like a newcomer because he has so many close new idols and he looks younger than his age, but he can make fun of JungKook, Rain, JYP and other veteran singers because he's belong to their generation.

He definitely does not belong to their generation, Turbo and JYP are from the 90s and Rain early 00s (though he debuted late 90s in a boy group first I believe), but he talks to everyone however he wants anyway (even Lee Soo Man)

​@@makicabrera you're definitely right about KJK and JYP, but despite Rain debuting about 7 years before Suju (putting Rain in what I'd call 1st gen and SuJu solidly in 2nd gen), Jung Jihoon/Rain himself is barely Heechul's hyung. Born in 1982 and 1983 respectively, they're only one year apart in age. so in that way, they very much are of the same generation. (close to my age as well!) as you observed, though, neither age nor time spent in the industry affects how Chulie talks to or about someone. he's just that kind of person. I believe he can get away with it in the comedy arena because he's _such_ a good person at heart that no one who actually knows him face-to-face takes real offense. and it helps that he is genuinely one of the funniest, wittiest, smartest people in Korean entertainment; if you're the butt of one of his jokes, you're probably laughing right along with everyone else. I'd pay to be dissed by Heechul. of course he's not scared to be a serious critic of others' actions as well (and it's just one more thing I love about him). but that's another story.
