Wait what? Rio was not as good as Saliba, mate :D Saliba is better physically, technically, and has higher football IQ. Rio was a great player, but he is not anywhere near a healthy Saliba. The only problem is we don't know for how long will Saliba be able to keep this level. Look at VVD as an example, once there was no competition for his starting spot, he started getting worse and worse. I am hoping Kiwior can really step in if Saliba or Gabriel get injured and play as well as he did last season.

It's a crime he didn't start for France during the world cup. Such a monster of a defender. He did lose form at the end of last season though. Needs to be more consistent. Gabriel is also a monster that should have started for Brazil. I'm so glad we have two of the best center backs in the world at Arsenal.

Its true, he is a BEAST. we lost the Premierleague starting with the liverpool game because Saliba was injured. HAd Saliba played, we would not have lost that liverpool game and go on a run of defeats and lose the title. Its as simple as that. We did not have the illegal money that the scumb*gs of City had to buy the title. When 1 of thier player goes out, they have a ready top class player to take his position to win the game. Thats y City bought the title last season while we did not make it.

Wes Brown is an odd case. He was dogged by injuries so much that he never had a chance to get properly into the flow of things and the one season he was fit he excelled at right back when United one the champions league and premier league in 08. Then immediately the injuries started up again. Feel like he looks more floppish than he was in some sections of football. Just an atrocious injury record that ruined his overall rhythm.

After saliba came back from world cup qualification he got injured and that is the end for Arsenal, we intend to loose game and points.

Don't want to dwell on the past but Arteta lost us the league last year playing Saliba in a pointless Europa League game when we already qualified for UCL football and he got injured THAT injury lost us the league. If Saliba was fit we would not of dropped points to Southampton and West Ham

Everyone knew Saliba was a generational great centre back in the making thats why everyone wanted him, it was just Arteta who refused to give him a chance until the guy literally went on loan, twice and got voted best CB in france as a teen. Ridiculous from Mikel imo but sometimes the talent is so great not even the biggest haters can stop him which Mikel absolutely was.
