Talent, class, teqnique is tested when you play against toughest bowling and feilding attack, and during drvd, sachin career, Aust, Safrica, Srilanka were the toughest in the world. Drvd is having totally failed against these teams and sachin was on top of his performance against these teams. Runs, average, winning and match defining games and evn centuries. Drvd is having only 2 test centuries against Aus, and sachin 11 centuries against Australia. Drvd is hving not a single odi century against England, Sa, and Australia. Shinde bhai, if you see drvd statistics, records and history, it clearly sounds, drvd is most " overrated" of his time. Very important, he is lowest match winner among all leading players. Match winning is a best criteria to judge a player. Sorry sirji. Goodluck.

He is not underrated for sure, if you were watching cricket in the times when he was playing, the whole country loved him . He was always the Hope our generation had in toughest situations. The fact he is still popular after more than decade of retirement proves it . For us Dada meant leadership, Sachin meant class and Dravid meant resilience.

Which toughest situation drvd played and hopes....bla bla..???? During dtvd time Aust, Safrica, srilanka were most toughest team, bowling and feilding point of view, drvd record is not up to the mark. and specially Australia was most tough and on the top of the world. Drvd is totally fail against Australia. Just check history. He had only 2 test hundreds and not a single odi hundred. In india against Australia is worse than that. Since you take his name with sachin. Sachin 11 odi and 9 test hundreds, only against Australia. Sorry bhaisahab, no offend, but i believe in stats of cricketer nothing other than cricket. Sorry bosd. And in india against Australia is worst. 233 and 77 in Adled, ( this match ther was no McGrath, Shane warn, and Bret lee. If you exclude this. His avrg is just 29. Similarly Sa, 1 century 1 halp, if you exclude this, drvd avrg is just 18 against Sa. Does it suit to a great player???? Generally your class always been tested when you play against tough bowlling and feilding attack. Sorry, sirji, my intention is not to hurt your feelings. But cricketer should be cricketr. Sorry bro.
