When Penguins ATTACK (adorably) at Boulders Beach, South Africa

9 Feb 2017 - Visiting the south end of Boulders Beach, where most tourists don't go. African penguins (also known as jackass penguins for the braying sound). Boulders Beach, about an hour south of Cape Town, is one of only two penguin rookeries on the mainland of Africa.

When the beak of the penguin touched the camera, my grandmother suddenly screamed. It made my heart jump! She was watching a basketball game, lmao.

African Penguins have a unique pattern of spots. And the bray that they make is similar to donkeys.

frankly speaking: they´re an endangered species and you should leave them alone and not trample around in their natural environment.

The beach is open to the public, the penguins just happily live there and aren’t really bothered by the people

Lol dude its a public beach, and you can't trample wet sand and giant rocks as someone else pointed out, there is also a private beach just for the penguins

@I know I’m gay when I say this but the penguins are very much endangered (40.000 left), their living space is diminishing and they can do very well without people "chilling". get yourself an education and avoid bad language! kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4Ns3M5mddW0YZc.html
