Teachers are the back bone of our 🌎! After this virus is over, hug those angel men and women! They don't get paid enough! I used to volunteer everyday for years and years in their classrooms. Then I was blessed to be hired to work as a teacher's assistant...blessed is a strong word...more like put through a ringer washer! But, I genuinely love children 🥰🥰🥰 I will never do it again, unfortunately I am exhausted! My babies are grown and I am getting ready for retirement. HUG your teachers, nurses, doctors, military personnel! They need encouragement! I am so glad my husband has retired from the military! It was fun when we were young🤩🤩🤩 God bless all the parents as well! It's exhausting if done right! Love to all, Grace

I love teaching & it’s a gift, I truly believe. I hope that parents and the public start appreciating us. Maybe we might get a thank you letter next year. He he. I wish! Yesterday, I called 2 kids who texted that they were having troubles. We spoke for over an hour. When a friend called and asked what I had been doing, I told her. She said “on Saturday?! They’re bugging you”. I reminded her that I’m a TEACHER! I love my students and worry about them so very much right now, more than ever. God bless all the kids at home. N Max Thank you sooooo much. I am in my 27th year of teaching, but this was more of God’s choice than mine. And I love it because I get to teach children more that reading, grammar, math, science, and social studies; I get to teach them how to be real humans in God’s eyes! My love for doing just so is the most rewarding experience any teacher can have. And it’s the challenging students (not bad) who make teachers work a little harder that produce the most profound rewards. Loving God means loving children and who they can become in spirit.

I have always known that one of my four sons is, eh, difficult. I always warn teachers in the beginning of the year and they spend a few weeks certain that I'm crazy. Then...they find out. I think my son's teachers are some of the most patient people on Earth *lol*

Too funny 😂😂😂! I know it’s frustrating...but y’all parents who have never done it...can do it. It takes love...patience...and for parents to take that full interest and responsibility for their own child’s education...which leaves no time for self until later. I did it for 6 years...w/3 kids...in 3 different grades at the time. Now my kids are grown...so doing this time I’m working w/my Grandchildren...Kindergarten and 1st grade....and they are BUSY... but I enjoy it. I’m determined when school does reopen..that they will be way ahead of the game. This is a perfect time to take them to the next level. You parents have faith and be encouraged...YOU CAN DO IT...YOU GOT THIS 😇!!! STAY WELL AND SAFE 😇

Nicole Skinner Good for you too! Homeschooling is very rewarding. And you child is right...you don’t see a lot of people taking walks with their children....there weren’t as many parents spending real time with their children before now. And I agree,...this quarantine shows what really needs to be done...it shows the lack of what has been done in some cases...make parents look at themselves...and really tune in to their children...who are actually AMAZING LITTLE PEOPLE 😇

Hilarious, but for real everyone needs to be at those school district meetings advocating for salary/healthcare and retirement benefits that are befitting their work. My sister teaching at a private school and I give her kudos daily because it takes a special person to deal with those kids whose parent wear rose colored glasses. She always says the year would go great if the kids were dropped off in August and parents aren’t seen until May. Yes, Ms. Hawkins has fuzzy slippers on, sipping some bourbon and laughing while listening to those messages, lol

sldeyo I completely agree. I have four kids ages 5-13 and I volunteered at their schools during the school year so I’m very familiar with their class routines. Quarantine teaching isn’t hard for me at all and the kids are learning more and having fun. We’re actually considering home schooling them next year because it’s going so great. I even have time to clean the house, garden, cook, and study myself. I love this time with my kids.
