He had such a young voice. I can’t believe he’s gone. Heartbroken

Steve’s voice had a magical quality that spoke to me for four whole decades. I really, really miss it 😪.

Great man , legendary show never to be repeated

I am very sad well have lost a great friend Steve Wright and yes I have tears in my eyes but then I think about all of his great radio shows and boy do I laugh he was the bests as my self and all people all over the world he was the legend we will miss you Steve Wright

I will always remember his Sunday Love Songs program too

Steve voice was so comfortable he is a real legend to radio so funny made me laugh enjoyed listening to to him so heartbroken he gone 😢

Always listen to Steve in the afternoon 😊

Mark & Lard were the best duo radio ever got

oh that was sad we didn’t get to hear Chris interview Mark and Lard! Such a shame when they left the Radio1 afternoon show they’ve never done another slot together.

Looking back now I can see how Chris learned from a pioneer

I was in an empty pub in london one afternoon with someone i used to know and chris Evans walked in with 2 other people, we ended up sharing a couple of pints and completing a crossword in the paper . A glorious hour in his company.
