I'm a woman in her 30's. I am 5'2 and weigh 128 lbs. My nephew is 12 years old. He's 5'5 and 115 lbs. He's like 3x stronger than me already. How is this a debate in 2023? Males are bigger, physically stronger, and more dominant than females. And that's a wonderful thing. Because men are able to protect those that are smaller and weaker than them (women and children). That doesn't mean that as a woman, I don't have my strengths! I certainly do! B/c while my body might be smaller than my husband's, I still carried our children and birthed them and nursed them with this small frame! My husband can't do that! Women have superpowers. But out-running men or beating them in arm wrestling contests are not one of them.

My aunt found this out the hard way, when I was like 10-12. She was both taller and heavier than you by quite a bit. She even out weighed me. She would always wrestle around with me and when she found out that I was going lite on her. She got embarrassed and challenged me to wrestle. She made me go “full” strength. She ended up crying, shortly after we started. She also never wanted to wrestle again.

Women get paid the same but women have a different • the disparity has been proven to be a false statement When you compare men and women with comparable educations at the beginning of their careers, working full-time in the same occupation and sector, the gender gap in earnings has largely disappeared in many advanced industrial economies. Same education, same work, same wage. Five to ten years later, often after the arrival of children, the gender gap in earnings appears. A non-existent wage gap becomes a significant and growing wage gap.

There's a reason sports are seperated when it comes to gender, because the male body has hundreds of biological differences that enables them to outperform women. I'll never understand why simple facts aren't allowed to be talked about because certain people choose to deem them as offensive, being accused of being a sexist or a mysoginist by simply stating truth.

This is EXACTLY what I keep saying and other women start arguing that I'm supporting men. But as a woman, I know BIOLOGICALLY and as a FACT that women can't do all the things men can do. We are NOT the same and can never be the same, but equality doesn't mean we must be able to do the same things, it means we equally respect each other and not push the other down because they can't do what you can. An example is, a fish isn't a failure and not good enough just coz it can't fly and birds aren't failures just because they can't swim.

@@joanhardy1787 I agree: there aren't many great options. One is tempted to say that open sports to women makes sense for the best to rise, but even the best female cannot beat the top men, so it most likely does 10x more harm than good, for almost every sport in the world. And, unless you're going to ban women from all sports, you really need to give women and men different leagues, etc. That's how it has been for hundreds of years for these very reasons. Of course, nowadays, there are certain mixed-sex events/sports, which make it illegal to even have all-male teams/events/sports now, which is shockingly unfair for everybody and renders the whole thing moot, ultimately, and causes some cultural negative impacts, which can also be found in viewing figures and support (rather, the lack thereof). Nobody wins in such a world -- sadly, sports is heading that way, along with allowing males to defeat women directly in sports, one-on-one (such as Boxing). Sports is dying and meaningless, as a result. My honest advice in 2023 is for women to refuse all pro sports completely, unless they can actually find an all-female event/sport. Best to not waste your life on that corruption until it's all fixed in 2040, or whenever the world wants to go back to normal... assuming it ever does! Likewise, we are almost at the point where men need to quit sports, if they are forced to defeat women by law (which does seem to be coming down the pipeline in the West by the mid-2020s in almost all sports and categories). All you'll see by 2040 is men in every sport at the top, either wearing a dress ('transgender') or actually as a man. Either way: no actual women will be there. Strange irony from the side of, 'women's rights'. It's painfully clear that these radicals don't care about female rights even remotely.

I saw an interview with a female officer in the military, she was chosen as part of a trial to train like the men do, her body started failing, she stopped having periods and may have be infertile because of it amongst other health issues. Women and men are different. The female body is not meant to be pushed as hard physically as a male body, it can’t handle it. Even if you manage to become as strong as a man like in your case which is rare in itself, your body cannot handle it. If you push yourself that hard that your bodies functions stop, like stopping having periods, then you need to stop, that is your body starting to fail.

I have an MS in exercise physiology and have trained athletes from amateur to professional. That this is even a debate is mind boggling. We have decades of research, not to mention 100 years of women's sports, that demonstrate what we already knew-men have a physical advantage. You can't just give a woman testosterone and level the playing field-nor can you just give a man estrogen and eliminate the advantage. Look at professional bodybuilders who used massive amounts of drugs in the 1990s when the women got huge. They still couldn't come close to the men. Men, on average, are bigger than women (taller and heavier). When you compare men's and women's strength in absolute terms, men are stronger. When you compare men's and women's strength relative to their body weight, men are stronger. However, when you compare men's and women's strength relative only to muscle mass, only in the lower body do women have about 97% the strength of men. Men are stronger than women in the upper body in both absolute and relative terms. Hips and center of gravity can play a major role in performance. Men typically have more narrow hips and a higher center of gravity. This aids in mobility and agility. Women typically have wider hips than men and a lower center of gravity. This aids in stability. Men typically have greater speed and higher power output. This is the case even when you test the highest-level athletes. This only scratches the surface. There's a reason men's and women's sports are separated and it has nothing to do with "misogyny" or "the patriarchy". High school, college, and professional sports would be almost devoid of women as top players if they competed with men in one gender-neutral division. That doesn't make men "better" than women in some ontological sense, just different. Women have advantages over men in other areas. And that doesn't mean there's not a woman on earth who can beat a given man at some physical activity. I worked for a former women's Olympic shotputter, and she was much stronger than me. But she wasn't as strong as the men at her same level. The point is that on average, men are physically faster, stronger, more powerful, and more agile than women. Grab a random man and a random woman and odds are heavily in favor of the man when it comes to who has greater physical strength.

Let me start by saying that the difference in cis-males and cis-females is marked. With all other things equal a cis-male will most definitely beat a cis-woman in an athletic competition. It get murkier when I comes to transgender athletes. There are trans-men who compete and bodybuilding and place or win. There are also trans-men who wrestle and box and place or win. High impact sports like football or rugby, move the needle over slightly in favor of cis males. I think a lot of trans men have to put in more work to get the same result but i don't think there is a great disparity between fully transitioned trans men and cis men. With regard to trans women , that's a whole different conversation that would be a very long.

As a woman, I know that when it comes to a physical confrontation with a man, I don't stand a chance. I found that out firsthand when a 6'4" 350 pound man mugged me in broad daylight 30 years ago. I was only 31 years old, but I was on crutches due to recent knee surgery. He aske for my purse and told him to get lost. He shoved me down a set of concrete steps, yanked my purse away from me so hard he almost dislocated my shoulder, then he punched me in the face hard enough to break my nose and fracture the orbital rim of my left eye. He didn't need a weapon against me. His size and strength was his weapon. Until a woman can take a punch from a man, we will never be equal. God meant for men to be stronger. That's why he made them bigger and stronger than us. He had other uses for women, but he intended the two sexes to complement each other, not compete with each other. You can look at the history of exhibition matches and scrimmages between pros and amateurs of the same gender and the amateurs winning those games are extremely rare even though the pros are holding back. I gotta find the article but someone actually did a comparison of exhibition matches in different sports: male pros almost always wins against the female pros, male pros almost always beats the male amateurs while female pro vs male amateurs is essentially a coin toss. Sports like Basketball and tennis favored the men heavily while the ladies did slightly better in soccer but still lost to male counterparts the majority of the time. So this is why I say that the national female team losing to the u15 boys team is valid because statistically speaking it would have never happened to the men's national team

I completely agree with you guys. In professional sports, women just don't generate the revenue that men's sports do -- it's all about drawing the crowds and selling tickets. In a regular 9-5 job where brain power is the thing, there should definitely be equal pay in the work place. But there is definitely a difference between men's and women's physical abilities. Biologically, men are just physically stronger, there's no denying that. But that should in no way detract from women's abilities, overall.

My hubs is an 18+ year career firefighter. This past year they (powers to be) made a special class for women, only women or those that identified as) that are EMTs, with NO physical requirements/standards and no training on what to do in an actual fire. Class was created by a woman who wanted a promotion and needed fire standards (shes in her late 50s and only sat at a desk)They did this, so these women could ride on a fire truck as EMTs. (our county FTruck respond to all med calls along with an ambulance, when available. Also our firetrucks can do EVERYTHING an ambulace can do) and "help". They all passed fire standards. You think cool, right? Except all firefighters to be must pass Fire Standards AND EMT before being a firefighter. I say that because the females going into to to be firefighters, don't get that class. So these EMTs, with their heart in the right place, really have no idea what they are doing when on a fire scene. Meaning when its just them and my husband that show up to a fire (yes its happend) they are creating a hinder to my husband. Who now worries about his scene, patients if there are, and someone who is supposed to be his back up. Also, what does that say to the other fire women who are doing the job and meeting the standard requirements for everyone....while showing up to all the photo ops of "Women in the Fire Service" type stuff knowing those women couldn't pull them out of a fire... -side note, They were then told next year the ones in the "special class" have to pass a physical and there is a HUGE uproar about how they were not told this and no way they could pass certain things. Like drag a 125lb 5'3" dummy 60ft or run a mile or climb 3 flights of stairs while hose.....my hubs is 6'2" 350lbs... I say that, because one of his partners is female and can drag his ass out of a fire and still have juice in the tank... What do you think that says to her? What do you think it creates to the morale of the guys in the service or about to get into it? If you can't do the job, truly, male, female, or the 🤷🏼‍♀️....you shouldn't get special privileges. *steps off soapbox*

As a female, I have no issue admitting when my lady muscles aren't up to the task. I'm stronger than most women, but still weaker then most men. Modern feminism thinks erasing our differences is the way forward, but I believe that embracing our differences and complimenting each other would be more beneficial. I could kick all the boys asses in martial arts, until about 14. The playing evened out, and then eventually its fully separated by sex for safety and competition. Could I hold my own, maybe, with a guy the same height and weight? Possibly. Its more likely I'd lose. I had to defend my life once, and he didn't fare so well, but either did I. Sadly, men (or even transwomen) competing in female sports will take someone's death to end this stupid argument about men and women being different

The sports women excel over men in are sports of endurance, not bursts of strength and speed. Women have always made superior endurance swimmers (a woman holds the record for longest time and distance swimming in the ocean), as well as superior ultra marathon’ers (marathons covering several days). Men are stronger and faster, while women can endure more physical pain and exert more endurance. Japans infamous medical experimentation unit in WWII tested men vs women in pain endurance. Their results showed men broke under torture 2-3x faster than women and women stayed conscious during painful torture while most men eventually passed out.

Note: Just for some deeper understanding here, recent reports and studies show that women already make equal pay for almost every job, at every level in many Western nations. The key detail here is how money is generated for you: promotions. Women don't demand/get as many promotions, which is what massively messes up the so-called 'pay gap'. That, or it's a simple matter of wealth generation (rev). Typically, men are at the top of most areas and create the most support/wealth; therefore, they get paid more -- even for the exact same work/hours/job. Random example (real life example here) is a white guy on the BBC radio making like 5x as much money as a black female host -- doing the exact same job and hours, one assumes. The difference is this: he is 10x more popular than she is, so creates a lot more income for the station, which means they can pay him more. By demanding that she be paid equally, she is actually stealing directly from his and the station's own earnings as to equalise, even though she didn't actually make it, so even if she should get more money in some perfect world -- theft is never the answer, certainly not from your own radio station and its more successful hosts. That's just going to sink the ship. It's some kind of socialist utopia at best, and a simple act of bitter tyranny at worst. Either way, such a world is impossible without almost endless surplus of wealth, which is never going to happen. Even Aussieland or U.S. are not rich enough to throw away trillions of dollars a year like that for all women in all jobs, and it requires a weird taxation of the successful, then you'll simply force your successful people to flee to another nation/economy, thereby weakening your own even more. This is the call for 'equity' ('equality of outcome') in a nutshell. Be very, very scared of these terms. They translate to: 'forced, at gun point or the threat of such, to create identical outcomes/states at all levels of the society/system'. It's literally one step removed from creating a clone army or Germanic utopia of the 1930s. Truly sadly, it's happening all over the governments, educational systems, work force, and so on. It's the most insane, inhuman, unworkable, utopian thing ever dreamed of by humans. It's just a form of female-led Communism where everybody has billions of dollars and perfect happiness and status, and everybody has identical bodies/minds. Places like Cambodia already tried it, by forcing women into the factories to die like men. To say the last, it failed horribly, killing something like 70% of the total population under the dictatorship. And, it's slowly being enforced all over the place right now; hence, places like Sweden and England have 60% income tax rates compared to America's 15% or whatever. Likewise, it's partly why many Western nations are failing, and why they are struggling to generate. They are running a kind of female slave labour system, targetting successful men, with the illusion that it's reaching a 'fairer state' that can last forever. Places like Scotland and Sweden will be dead by 2040 if it keeps going 'woke' (for lack of a better umbrella term). Note: For a very important, extreme example, look at Fallon Fox, or any number of the other men-beating-women events. If nothing else, it's almost inhuman at the level of disrespect, and shows a lack of being a gentleman to the point of insanity. Women weren't even punched by men in public in the 1500s, so Christ knows how we got to where we are today, some 500 years later! There must be such a fundamental lack of value placed on the female sex in our culture, that it's nothing short of a desire for self-destruction. No self-respecting man beats a woman at anything if they can help it. It's just not what real men do.

It's just much more likely to be more visible on men, because theirs tilt much more during puberty, making it more horizontal (pertruding), whereas girls' typically tilt very little, so it remains largely invisible unless we stretch out our necks while swallowing or something. Some girls' adam's apples tilt more than the female average and some guys' tilt less than the male average. You can't determine someone's birth sex by singling out traits like that (as I assume that's what you're implying). All women in my family except my aunt have broad shoulders and no hips. I am a fire fighter, my wife is a fire fighter, she knows the truth and knows when something is better suited for a man PERIOD. No disrespect to her in any way because she is a rockstar and does an amazing job at anything she does but she is smart enough to know when she can't do the same things I can do. Plenty of things she does better then me but not one of them is in the strength category. She still should be paid the same because everyone is a gear in the machine and we all play our parts.

guys, if i have a store/factory/anything with 2 employees, no matter the sex, color, age, etc and one of them works more than the other, i have to pay him BETTER, or he will leave me in the long term and i will remain with the weaker/lazier employee. Therefore it makes sense that the better employee to be paid better. If a man or a woman works like 10 employees, i`ll give him/her a BIGGER salary. If a man or woman works like half of employee/job, i wont pay half, i will fire him/her !

There are 3 shifts and each operator on each shift are doing the exact same thing but being paid differently. Also, you guys need to do The Ghost Of You by My Chemical Romance.

@@christianjennings4343 the arena holds 12000, aces average attendance for home games in 2022 is 5600. I guess that's filling it up...I'm no Steven Hawking, but that's less than 50% attendance, with most tickets selling for $20.00 and lower level seats for $32.00, that's horrible attendance. It cost more to see a AAA baseball game in Vegas and sit in the heat. If the prices rivaled NBA prices, no one would show as the product isn't worth that.

You can appreciate and respect it while also understanding that she is far from the best in the entire world of Tennis.

🦋 we need time to work through it, not necessarily the people that are doing it but the other people that are involved in participating with it. Everybody’s gonna have to figure out how the new pieces of the puzzle offered together. We’ll get there. Just breathe😂 And I definitely do not agree that women putting labels on boxes should be getting paid the same amount as people lifting the boxes. Now when you talk about offices that I used to work at In the 70s We are men and women actually were doing the same exact thing and men were making much more. That was where all the stemmed from and they were still using an old model that the men were supporting the family so they should be making more but most of the women that were working or either supporting themselves and we’re a family as well.

The Bible calls the woman the "weaker vessel"!. Not weaker mentally, but physically. God made man to be the protector of the woman and children. Women have other wonderful qualities that men don't usually have. We should celebrate femininity and bring out qualities such as gentleness, nurturing, etc. We should also respect men for their strengths, not only physical but courage, fortitude, and loyalty etc.

@@emilyobryant5083 idk, people lie all the time. Maybe you’re not lying but you’re not telling the other factors of why someone would make more than you like experience or how long they’ve worked there. It IS illegal to pay you less based on your sex if you’re doing the exact same job and working the same hours and there’s not other factors like experience, degrees or bonuses based on performance. You could get a huge lawsuit if you could prove that they’re paying you less.
