I get chills watching this man play, he's just out of this world. When other players feel the slightest foul they stop, not Messi he pushes through the fouls and continues on; I've never seen a player do the things he does. We will never ever see anyone quite like him, it is as if he was a gift from the gods.

Coincido con usted, lo de Maradona era mágico y belo de ver pero fue corto en el tiempo, su capacidad de liderazgo aparecio recien en 1986, era contagioso. Ahora lo de Messi es extraordinario tambien y mucho mas prolifico en el tiempo, de hecho ha duplicado los registros que tenia Maradona en todas las fases del juego. Es un animal Lionel Messi. El dia que no juegue más muchos que hoy se burlan y rien se daran cuenta lo que se perdieron de ver, estoy seguro que no lo vieron, hablan para defender a sus idolos pero desde el desconocimiento. To be fair, Ronaldo creates a lot of shooting opportunities, but in a different way. Like a striker, rather than a playmaker. He can find shooting angles and opportunities in situations where most other players - even very good strikers - would have to look for another option. Admittedly, he also takes _a_ _lot_ of shots, and misses many. But still.

Messi is the best player,the best dribbling,the best playmaker,the most completed player,he is magic and the same time so simple and honest.He is the greats of greatests.

The main reason this guy is incredible with his solo runs, is that he keeps the ball close to his feet as he dribbles, closer than other players do, that’s why they lose the ball more often than he does. It becomes very difficult to read the player’s projected path as he dribbles that way, he becomes so smooth that it almost seems he’s running without a ball. He doesn’t kick it in front of him with much force, but just enough to match his speed and direction as he runs. Of course its much much easier said than done, but this man knows how to nail it regularly like tying his boot before every match. Just amazing.

I can’t understand why 1.2k didn’t like this video. 😂😂 Probably their team was on the receiving end.

Yo me angustio de solo pensar que los años pasan para todos y que messi se nos esta poniendo cada vez mas grande y cada año que pasa mas cerca estamos de verlo jugar por ultima vez...Uno no quisiera nunca tener que ver su retiro pero ese dia va a llegar... Despues dentro de años decadas vamos a recordar y vamos a poder decirle a nuestros hijos y nietos que tuvimos el privilegio y la suerte de haber podido ver jugar a messi. @@joseram3314 yo ya me di cuenta hace tiempo, es el mejor jugador de la historia del Barcelona, del fútbol español y esta entre los mejores jugadores de la historia, con 21 o 22 años ya llegó a ser el mejor jugador del mundo sin discusión y todo lo demás, a mi me gustaba mucho Ronaldinho pero cuando lo comparo con Messi, diría que hasta lo veo lento a Ronaldinho si los comparo, y así con muchos jugadores buenos, agradecido de que en mi deporte favorito,lleve la 10 de la selección Argentina. Es verdad que los años pasan para todos, pero lo sigo desde sus inicios y me va a costar asimilar su retiro sin dudas.

Ojalá y el destino le de la copa que tanto merece, ya viene el 2022. Es el mejor y me gustaría verlo campeón del mundo no por Argentina... si no por el, a quien años y años le han tirado tanto sus compatriotas como sus detractores por sus finales perdidas, cuando en Argentina es quién mejores números a dado...

I don’t agree ....... maybe slightly better than pele and cruyff but not miles ahead maradona or Ronaldo Nazario ....... he and maradona are quite similar maradona was less of a goal scorer but his dribbling is equal to Messi’s in most respects

@@Couragethecowardlydog509 For me Messi dribbles better than Maradona, Maradona is worse in the 1v1 situation and he's not as good as Messi in short spaces, Messi also dribbles better because he does insane body feints that make him better in short spaces, maybe Maradona could be better in large spaces but most of the game happens in short spaces so not even in dribbling Maradona is equal to Messi for me, and if we look in other aspects of the game and career, Messi destroys him. Ronaldo Nazario for me is the only player that dribbles as good as Messi and maybe even better, but only in dribbling, same, when you look for other aspects of the game and the career, Messi destroys him, that's how it is

However good Maradona may have been his numbers his consistency his intelligence his vision his killer instinct his weight of pass his playmaking his speed his technique is absolutely nowhere near what Lionel messi is... As what graemm souness says he has played against Maradona 5 times and believe me messi is undoubtedly better.. 2 seasons at the top have no match on Messis 15... Messi will retire with over 750 goals and over 350 assists.. He will have over 70 free kicks over 60 hatricks etc etc etc not a footballer alive matches what messi has done... And as for Maradonas world cup in theory he should of got sent off for cheating and he wouldn't be in this debate...

I'm a Messi fan but Ronaldo deserves at least a little credit because while his goals+assists is definitely not as good as Messi's (nobodies is) he's still a world class player and surely one if the best in his position

Agreed on the comment above. I think it's unfair to compare anyone with Messi lol. And Ronaldo being only a goal scorer only applies on his last seasons at RM.. he was very complete at MU and during his first seasons in Spain (that was actually the best version of Cristiano.. but Messi from 2009+2013 was too overpowered and that makes Cristiano's seasons seem worse than they actually were).

His legs are like Einstein's brain...... They have to be secretly preserved to find out whats the magic in them.

He is the best footballer ever. We need another 100 years to get another one. I don't watch football but I watch football when Messi is playing
