That’s true though. Sure they were terrifying, and so are the Floormasters, but it’s a fun ‘FLUFF THIS I’M NOT GONNA DIE LIKE THIS WOOHOO’ kinda way. When you figure out the optimal strat to get rid of them (reflecting the beam and bombing respectively), it just becomes ‘ah fluff this again… okay let’s get this over with’.

@@mordredpendragon1235 not really It's not the same timeline They completely defeated the calamity and saved the dead sages So while at first it looks like a prequel it's actually an alternate reality set before the game

One of my favorite cutscenes ever is when Zelda and Urborsa are having a serious conversation and then it pans to Link eating handfuls of rocks with a knight handing him a plate full of rocks.

TotK Gloom Spawn don't move along the ground or regenerate for roughly four seconds after a critical bow shot.( They do grab, but you can mash out of their grip before you even take Gloom Damage.) Just take it down from 9-30 metres away and you can even get a free Demon King's Bow for your troubles.

​@@aureliodeprimus8018 Freeze → Damage is typically always a very good damage combo thanks to the 6-20 seconds of freeze and the frost crit (triple damage, stacks with critical hits and Attack Up) and Staff has the best durability of the three magic weapons, so I have to agree. The utility of disarming the enemy is honestly devalued by the fact that you carry the Topaz Staff already and fire is just an inferior element for inflicting grevious damage or status effects when you aren't fighting ice-based enemies. (We don't talk about water.)

I for one am a fan of Musou games. Love fighting through thousands of enemies to feel like a bad a** (primarily DW games as those are the childhood memories flowing in)

I love them too. Nothing is more satisfying to me, then slaughtering hundreds of enemies with some really cool attacks. Also I love farming exp and getting absolutely OP.

Do we even know how much time was between BotW and TotK? Keep in Mattison wasn't even a thought in BotW. As Rhodson and Hudson were matched up by Link in BotW. Which means at least 5 years or longer has past since the events of BotW. Also keep in mind that Zelda was containing the Calamity for 100 years before BotW. Meaning very few people knew who she was at the end of BoTW. In TotK everyone knows who Zelda is and alot of them can reconize Zelda by sight from a distance. That kind of familiarity takes time.

I loved guardians, always a fun time to test your skill with them

The guardian's are like the black/silver knights from dark souls. A absolute nightmare to fight until you find out how easy they are to parry.

Honestly, the hands are only difficult the first time, mostly cause of the panic...then you realize how ungodly easy they actually are. Not to mention Bomb Flowers will keep them at bay, and if you simply don't want to fight them, just toss down a Brightseed and they'll f*ck off.

3:43 I reiterate: these things aren’t so bad if you have a lot of hearts. It’s pure war of attrition but they’re definitely doable. I’d honestly say they’re EASIER than the Guardians late game. Even late game in BOTW, a Guardian can one or two shot you before you even get close to them. Gloom Hands only take one or two hearts of, albeit unhealable, damage at time but they have to get close to you. Which means you’re in a perfect spot for payback. And also Spoilers Phantom Ganon is a pretty fun mini-boss!

Actually, it's most likely that Ocarina of Time Link wound up with Malon. Twilight Princess Link is a blood descendant of OoT Link. And notice how he's a farm hand, just like Malon. Sure, it's not concrete. But Link ends up with no one if you're looking for it to be explicitly stated. Even when in Skyward Sword, it's clear Zelda is in love with him, she gets cockblocked by Ghirahim and at the end, she never confesses her feelings, and it seems like she didn't have them anymore.
