People may fail you but Jesus Christ will never fail you. And he will lead you to a path where you will meet people who you can trust. God made me realized so many things today. One of the things He pointed out through this message is how I seek the world and find a temporary source when I worry instead of seeking God. I am guilty of it, but I am grateful He pointed it out to me. I have much more work to do, but I am learning from it and will grow from it.

I'm busy checking off my bucket list as I'm a young guy whose heart is rapidly giving out. I had asked for Craig's advice on several things, as I'm torn between the looking fwd to heaven and envy about not having relationship, the joy of marriage, etc. It's a tough balance between wanting to enjoy life and remain a goo Christian in my situation, temptation everywhere!

I need the fullness of God. Im thankful that I found one of your videos in my feed, I have since watched at least 10 of them because they seem to match exactly what I'm going through. Im healing and finding my identity in him while I turn away from the comforts of this world. I have felt his presence cover me like a blanket many times but for some reason I do not feel him in this transition when I so desperately desire to depend solely on him. Any videos you can suggest to answer this?

I feel ya. ♥️ An old friend once shared how she loved watching Jesus in movies... Recently I watched the chosen series and it helped. I think I'm learning that the way my parents ignored myself and needs as a child it seems that original pattern burnt in my brain and so I constantly struggle to feel or believe God's love. Joyce meyer said that she had to study and proclaim God's love for a whole year before she could feel it .. I fasted my life away believing in what was coming from the pulpit and people at the time , striving to commune with him.... But at this point I guess I'm learning the striving cancels out the intimacy.... I pray he overshadows you with his love and you find rest in his promises. 🙏

I’m somewhat of a new Christian as I found God April of last year so forgive me for being naïve but there’s something I have a hard time understanding. For example when God was saying he was so disappointed how people were worshiping false idols and how Adam and Eve disobeyed with eating the fruit, etc. what I don’t understand is God already knew all of this stuff was going to happen before he made anyone so why would he be upset or why did he even make humans if he knew already that this is how everything will turn out?

Yeah, I think there's a difference between giving encouragement and sharing the Gospel to people (which women certainly can do!) compared to preaching in a church. I think that's a leadership role God gave to men. THe verse you're thinking of is 1 Timothy 2:12

This is what I don't understand... Thou shalt not want any we aren't supposed to love the world... What exactly does that mean? Are you to not want love, marriage a family, a nice home, a ruining vehicle, a good job etc... Or does it refer to gluttony and desire for these material items over God, love and people? I guess what I'm saying is I'm sure your family has your own things you like and you buy them or do them etc. Maybe you have a boat. Craig said he was taking pilot lessons etc.. these are worldly things... Explain this to me please.. I'm not getting quite getting it... Like I've heard pastors say God isn't worried about our happiness and that's not the purpose of our life. But literally the main thing is life is to find your other half and become one.. Have children if that's what you want go to work, hey a nice home. A good job etc. To be able to do things that are fun on life. No I don't mean partying etc. Like enjoying life, the beauty of it, the wonders of it etc. I don't think it's wrong if you are putting God first... These are honest questions... I am definitely humble and appreciate everything in my life and know that if it weren't for the grace of God I wouldn't be where I am today. I've been through some horrible things. I could have ended up a drug addict, alcoholic, committing suicide or anything after what I have been through. By where I am today I don't mean I'm living some high life etc. I mean that I have a decent life, home, husband family etc. But first and foremost I have God and I always have. But I spent a lot of years confused in the fact that I thought I was doing what God led me to. But I realize there is no way that God would have plunged me into the pure hell I went through. As a teenager and beyond.. I believe there is always a silver lining in everything. My silver lining out of the horrible situation I was in are my Children and now my husband that third road led me to. If it weren't for my children I would have never had the strength and courage to make it out and at the time I wasn't really relying on God anymore because I believed people that said God puts us through this. But you know what? God gave us free will. We make our own choices and to say that God had your life planned out before we were even born makes no sense.If we were born with free will and In God's image and he already planned out life at the same time then why would we go through the terrible choices we made that put us in a very bad situation? That doesn't make sense. I believe we make our own choices and since we are incapable of being perfect we don't always make the right choices and definitely not the choice God would have made for us. What do you say to that? We ventured off the path God had for us ? I believe that God's plan is to end up in eternity with him so we must believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and that we are forgiven and will have eternal life. I one million percent don't believe that God chose the path I took and the path I took was a result of some bad things that happened to me in the first place.

Hi, Sheila M! Here are a few thoughts to consider: - We want to put God first. Jesus said to love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. He's our first priority. - There's nothing wrong with wanting good things in this life, like marriage, children, a job, or a boat. But we shouldn't love any of those things more than we love God, and we shouldn't live with the expectation that God will give those things to us. He might give us those things, but He's never promised us that he will. - We often have ideas of what will make us happiest in this life, but those ideas don't always line up with what God knows will make us happiest. If we aren't getting what we want from God, it's a good idea to ask Him why, and consider whether He has a different plan for us. - LK, Team LC
