    Jockeys weigh less but I agree with everything u said tho just wanted to state that jockeys don’t weigh 110lbs by themselves with their gear yes because jockeys have to meet a weigh requirement they can’t be over a certain amount of weight but it depends on the derby like the Kentucky derby the max weight is I do believe 125lbs but jockeys get weighed with their gear so their saddle what they are wearing everything they are gonna stick on that horse is weighed with that jockey if they exceed that weight then they can’t race but what you said I agree with like I said just wanted to clear up the weight thing

  • @issnake1109

    @issnake1109

    Don’t hate me or anything, but I’m 90% sure the horses throw their heads up to keep themselves from falling, and the riders just manage to stay on on their own. If the horse put their head down they would face plant and roll, which is extremely dangerous for everyone. The horse throwing its head up definitely does help, though, even if it was probably unintentional on the horses part.

    Horse racing really isn't abusive. These horses love to run. If they didn't want to run they simply wouldn't. My mother and I raced horses until she went to jail for drug charges. They are always kept under great condition and always healthy. Hardly EVER underweight and fed healthy food. They get exercise which quite a lot of people who own horses don't get them their requirements which is sad. Not very often at all do horses get hurt but when they do, yes it is sad. But these animals were bred for this. Horses have evolved and are bred to RUN and for long distances too. It's not like these men and women mean for these horses to get hurt. Shit happens. I was simply walking my AQH down an easy trail we've been down about hundreads of times and he tripped and broke his foreleg in multiple places. I cried my eyes out but I knew it wasn't my fault. This goes for the same as horse racing. They do it all the time but shit happens. You all complain about how cruel it is because you only see the bad in things. Sure, there is abuse but in VERY RARE cases. Every horses I've ever raced along side was a happy, healthy horse. So shut your uneducated mouths.

    The horse might have spooked and even if it didn't, the jockey was a bit of balance which is very unnerving for the horse and no race horse is "pathetic". They seriously are ran to their death in this horrible abusive sport and in these cases some of the jockeys should've just jumped of because no matter how light you are, dangling on the horse's neck is really damaging.

  • @sophiepetry1219

    Susukizu jumping off at that speed with other horses running that same speed behind you is just a death wish. falling off at that speed easily kills a human and if you survive that you would probably get trampled and maybe die from that. or get horribly injured. so that 5-10 seconds on the horses strong neck won't be as bad as "jumping off".

    When the horses help the jockeys stay on, it means they love them dearly, if they hated the jockeys and were treated unfairly you KNOW it would fucking buck the jockeys off. Horses love us and trust us that’s why they don’t kick you off all the time. Besides, when jockeys win the money it goes to their horses. Race horses have a fair diet, HUGE pastures, and HUGE STALLS. Race horses are treated so fairly that’s why they put up with racing, if these horses where uncomfortable or sad they’d kick off the jockeys, and also, something with the jockeys why they are so light and saddles are light is for the horse. The horses are treated so fairly, sure bit’s are not good, but it still means the horse is fine!

    Bet Freddy 😂😂😂 I was watching horse racing and the commentator literally addressed that in the session (the irony!) There is a weight limit. Horses can't carry more than x pounds (pending on age). Are the horse tired? Yes. Exhausted? No. That's a bit exaggerated. Again, more false claims. Just because you're saying it doesn't make it a 'fact' 😂

    mws eventing it’s true, you know. They don’t care about their horses, or they wouldn’t be pumping them full of drugs and putting them in mortal danger. 25-35 horses die at racetracks every racing day. EVERY DAY. That’s from the jockey club themselves. They are ridden years before they are physically fit enough for it, whipped, and forced to race for money. Some of them race so often that they are physically unable to anymore. What happens to them? They are put down or sold at auction, commonly being sold for slaughter. Stop trying to normalize this. Turning a blind eye won’t solve the problem

  • @probablymalware9904

    U.V. S. Yes, but guess what, that doesn’t put them in danger, as racing does for horses. In my comment above you can see just how many horses die at tracks around America every day, which is horrifically high to the number of horses bred for races. Horses shouldn’t be put through that kind of exploitation and endangerment. It’s just sad. Humans do jobs for money, horses do jobs that will most likely end in their death for humans’ entertainment and gain :/

Unfortunately he’s got a bone disease which is very rare and before you say no it’s not because of racing. He is going to be retrained which most failed do racehorses do so yeah don’t believe things that are not true

    Right so you think racing isn't a sport and abuse. Dressage people tie string to the horses mouth to there legs so the horse bend there head. Cross country if the horse is spooking the rider with kick them hard and whip them to get the horse over the jump. And most the time if they get a bad stride they carry on. Show jumping some people can't even ride the bigger heights and gets the worst strides into 1m45 jumps and whip then and use Spurs. These horses love what they do they get loved and so well looked sfrer by there owners as soon as the race is finished they cool the horse down and wash it with some cold water and cuddle them and love them. Just because their ears are back doesn't mean the hate it actually the horses ears are back because of the wind. These horses love their jump you can even see some of the horses lifting there Head trying help the rider on.
