This movie hits home. My mom has dementia. Love them while you have them. We are their memories now of their past.

My husband passed last October 30 from Alzheimer's. We have their memories. It's such a devastating disease...both diseases are the Long Goodbye.

I can see why it won an award. Yet had to stop half way through. Got to me because I'm getting older as so many of us are. In the last ten years I've lost my children, two, a son and a daughter. The thought of who is going to take care of me has been on my mind for some time. Hopefully I'll finish it at a later time.

Please know you have a God that loves you and knows what you need. I'm 63 and memory issues plague me every day but my hope in the Lord Jesus renews my inner strength enabling me to keep on❤

I was deeply touched by this movie and I miss my mom so much. I know she is in a better place now.

What a good movie.The true reality of the situation on Dimentia, and how to handle ur loved one in this situation. Its scary really to know if ur doing the right thing for ur loved one.Sad to take them away from the home they know and love would confuse them even more.But the safety of ur loved one i beleive is to be the number one thing u really need to worry about.Please don't stop going in to see them,and visiting them.They will remember,and forget. But its those times they remember! that really count❤

Never understood why Lindsay Wagner, didn't become a bigger star. I guess she refused to let the big boys control her. She has such a beautiful voice and face lol.

The mother had her one wish, to see and remember how happy she was on that day while the wind rippled through her hair and as she and her husband were so in love and enjoying the moment. Her son gave her that peace Now she could go. What an incredible son, human being, that would do that.

Why is Jack's character always wearing plunging neck t shirts. He looks so scuzzy

Obviously 100% impossible because he would take the job which would allow him all sorts of financial freedom to care for his mother and take care of all of his legal problems and this is a ridiculous premise because that man died as his father as a very old person who had lived a very long life and they had tons of resources, and the guy was very grateful and had a wonderful day and died a happy, happy person So this young kid supposedly he’s just gonna run around and grieve and be sad because his dad is dead. He’s gonna lose everything because oh he loves his dad oh blah blah blah and he’s gonna go save his mom who does not need saving because she was fine before that kid came along and messed up everything. Hollywood Hollywood rated garbage man this could’ve been a decent movie but the premise of it is so stupid because nobody would give up $1 million so they could sell their Emmy for $1200 and kiss some girl it’s just it’s so stupid. It’s like a 12-year-old wrote the script man.

The movie has a good plot about family. However, the acting is horrible.

If only dementia was this kind. This film is unrealistic in its depiction of the disease and the nurse getting jealous after one dinner is a bit much.
