Did they see how Vinicius created that goal? And then Rodrygo... Vini did not cool down. He understands what's needed in the match and does everything to support Benzema. He rarely takes a shot a goal. It's a shame his goal was wrongfully ruled out.

I thing he was right though. There was a moment in the season when Vini's form went down, and Benzema picked up the slack. So now even if Vini is back in form, when the going really gets tough he plays his part, but looks for some Benzema magic in the final touch.

@@nevarran How long is a moment? Besides I bet you even in that period that you say it showed down he still had the most chances created. And I don't know what miracles they want because teams are now doubling in on vinicius and benzema well he's got the striker's positioning and service, but Vini's role is quite different. He almost has to do it alone. I bet you Vinicius was involved in almost all the key goals that Benzema scored? But how can that be? He's supposed to have cooled down. His goal output has gone down sure but he's not about that life. You can't make a case here. And the boy has played every game too

Vini hasn't scored in the last several games but he was involved in all the goals against psg, he made one assist against Chelsea in both legs. So he may not score but no one can deny the impact he's givinh

Barca fan here, Benzema absolutely deserves the Balon D’or this year. This man is on the verge of bringing Madrid to another league title and UCL title and if he does, it just cements his name on the 2022 Balon D’or

But honestly, Anceloti is abusing us with all these heart attacks. Why not play Vede in midfield and let Rodrigo dazzle on the wing

Think about it for a second. He played as a left back for the first 60mins creating a big chance and an assist. He then moved to the right and assisted in the second goal. He cleared a couple of very dangerous attacks by Sevilla. Amazing. Give credit to the man with the big cheeks for moving him around making all this impact.

I have immense respect for him and was really happy when we has signed for this season.. however his crazy defensive approach against PSG in Paris and the disastrous setup against barca playing Kroos and Modric as forwards lost me

Just goes to show you that if you don`t do the final pass/shot for the goal you don`t get appreciated. That backheel pass thing that Vini did in the packed Sevilla box was a moment of magic. He got the ball to Rodrygo who then made the assist to Benzema.

That was not at all an average performance tbh. Even when he didn't have the goal he had 3 dribbles, two lovely crosses and could've had an assist or two of he was just a little less hesitant in some instances. I think he was amazing.

Vinicius has been an amazing creator lately rather than a goal scorer. He doesn’t need to be a great finisher cause he already has Karin benzema.

Pep is probably redoing his plan. He's like guys, whoever scores early will be out of team. You need to score in the last 10min so they don't come back and beat our our asses.

Vinicius has cooled off? He may not be scoring as much goals anymore, but he is a critical part of Benzema's continued success. He moves the ball, makes countless key passes in the box and the final third,, assists and so much more.

There was a handball that should have been given as penalty against Sevilla at the beginning of the game, but it got totally ignored.

It's incredible how the ref re-checks and still disallows that Vinicius goal... Absolutely astounding!

This is the same garbage Ramos pulled against Salah two years ago but Ref didn't see anything.
