The latest reality series craze to test the power of love is ITV’s very own ‘My Mum, Your Dad.’ In episode one viewers were introduced to Roger - a widow- who has struggled to find love since losing his partner very suddenly. It got us talking about when the right time is to put yourself back out there. Brenda thinks that finding a new partner is something that can’t be rushed and when you know, you know. Jane tells us a lot of older widows are looking for a carer more than a romantic partner and you have to watch out for that.

I really enjoyed this segment! How I love Brenda & Jane (and Jane's blouse).
My husband passed a year ago, after loòking after him for four years definately don't want anyone else. You cant find happiness from external things. Been approached by three men even though i'm seventy.

What’s the betting the widower they are discussing gets remarried within 12 or 18 months? No matter how much a man may long for the single life, when it comes along they just can’t cope with it!
some people choose to be single after loss and others move on and when they've completely healed, they find someone else.
