hahahaha yeah, I had this thought when I tried to find a new owner for him, but I already have 4 cats my own, so....can't have more... :( but he's doing really well in his new family! They love him so so so much~~

Yep, I used to be self-absorbed. Worried too much about personal problems but when I started rescuing cats, I really forgot about my problems.

Rescues are SO hard to let go. Afterall they take a piece of your heart with them. You are such a beautiful and kind little girl (young woman - I'm old) but still will rescue if I'm needed. I currently have two Abysinnians and 4 rescues. They are my precious little baby friends. Thank you for being loving and kind. Blessings in your walk. p

My family finally agreed to let me get a cat when I was severely depressed. For the first few weeks of his arrival all I did was attend to his needs and I'd sleep on the floor next to his cage despite how sleep deprived and constantly tired + anxious I was. I remember crying nonstop beside him as he laid asleep on my bed because I couldn't believe a cat was napping in my bed. I was so suicidal and everything just sucked, but I remember that the sky was so blue that day. It's been almost a year... I'm better now, still healing, and my boy has already turned one. He's a gorgeous and peculiar little one who never manages to cheer me up. I'm so glad this little baby of yours found his permanent family. I hope he's loved his whole life and I hope he makes his family feel loved too.

He is purely precious! There is just something special about an "orange" cat. I've always been partial to any cat who is orange, yellow, or whatever color they are in those shades. I can't put my finger on it, but they are so different, and sweet as can be.😍😺

I hope you can be fine no matter how long time needs to take it, just stay healthy and trust yourself, trust you are significant enough and no need to prove anything, you are just you, you are a beautiful soul and the Universe loves you, too. I understand time will not fix anything but no matter what, believe in yourself, you are definitely great!
I wouldn't have been able to let the little guy go either.

I love kitties so much! Thanks for rescuing this beautiful guy. Also, I have lost the count of how many times I wanted to start afresh myself. Not going to say cliches like 'hang in there', 'your time will come soon'. Find them too irritating. But trust me you'll find your balance sooner or later because that's how it works ❤
