When House Met Matt... MARK! | House M.D.

Ойын-сауық

House feels obligated to help his ex-lovers husband, Mark, despite still having feelings for her. Will House manage to put his feelings aside for his ex and crack the case?
Stream full seasons on Peacock: pck.tv/39BlAG0
"Honeymoon" (Season 1, 22): House diagnoses Mark (Currie Graham) , Stacy Warner's husband. Although the tests do not indicate a condition and Mark claims to be fine outside of stomach pain, it appears his brain is dying. House finds abdominal epilepsy, but cannot detect any memory loss. After Mark begins developing paralysis, House decides to treat him for Guillain-Barré syndrome. After confiding in Stacy that he still has feelings for her, House realizes that Mark had experienced delusions, and actually suffered from acute intermittent porphyria (AIP). With support from Stacy, but not from his team, House gives Mark a dangerous drug cocktail to confirm that he really has AIP. Cuddy decides to hire Stacy as the hospital's lawyer.

God, I miss this show... I dreamed about House after the finale. In the dream, I said goodbye to him - and he, in his usual, sarcastic tone, said: "Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Next thing, I woke up and cried... Losing House is like losing a dear, dear friend....or a limb. (Too soon? 😂)

Every time you come back to the simplicity of “I am God also, I choose experience”, once you get back to that simplicity, it frees up a lot of energy to actually have experience, rather than try to understand what experience is. It’s not about getting to the other side. It’s about how I am in this moment taking that next step, no matter what the outcome is.

House's relation with Stacy they can never totally get over each other. Typical of so much of real life relations. Based on the medication prescribed at the end of this clip and the symptoms this looks like porphyria a genetic disease.

In this case her "ex" is the best diagnostician in the world, and he "helped" because it's his JOB. If you think a doctor should let a man die just because his ex-gf is asking him for help you need serious therapy.

I hate the Stacy character. Her dialogue is too real. She speaks like the people I try to keep out of my life and she is playing with my buddy's heart.
