Yes, in 1995 I was two hours out of prison and I knelt down in front of the rocking chair and gave the Lord my heart. He had to reach way down, but today I am a pastor.

Not only his depth but you can understand every syllable. Listen up folks. This is REAL bass singing. You don't bury the other parts, you give them a good foundation to build their tones on. The bass voice is the most powerful of the octaves. Tim undetstood this more than any other bassist. Everyone is going to get their shot at showing out, but the tone of the blend (harmony) is what makes outstanding vocals. It's something most groups never get.

I've spoken with Tim Riley at length about his vocal range. He said there isn't a song he sings where he sings his lowest note possible. He said the lowest note he sings is the ending note on "By Your Grace for Your Glory". This just proves the amazing bass Tim Riley is. I am no doubt his biggest fan.

That's is not natural Was that subharmonic or did it sound like a subharmonic C1

@@onecolossalrubikscube2554 That's not really true. Some humans can sing a C1 without subharmonics, but it is incredibly rare. Tim is just a very rare breed of bass singer.

There comes a time in every1's life when you need to STOP and just think. Things have been going awesome for me and my family, yet still, this song has made me stop and think, whats really important to me, people around me, future planning, the love I have for those around me. I have had this song on repeat for an hr for my morning wake up. The power of positive songs is incredible. Bass just makes it more awesome. I agree with glh104753. Tim is super smooth. Never quite saw the "Nashville Number System" used like this before. But it is a simplified version of how to chord out a song. Providing you understand the basic concept.

they say his lowest note he sings is by your grace for your glory, but if u listen to gods building a church towards the end he goes to hit that note sounds like he has trouble hitting it as if thats bout bottom . if he can get lower i never heard it . the closest ive ever heard to it is when he ends "everyday" with eric bennett at nqc and they fall at the end. so idk thats my opinion

I have never heard of Glenn MIller...Who does he sing with? One other question, what does rip mean? I have heard that term before just have no idea what it means! I agree, to some peoples surprise, Russian basses aren't the be all to end all of bass singers! To prove that point, Tim Storms one a vocal search to sing the E1 on a choral piece with the ST Petersburg Choir in Russia! either the so called greats didn't try for this classical piece or they aren't all they are cracked up to be?!

When I say the guy can "rip" (referring to Tim Riley and Glenn Miller etc) I suppose the best description would be clear resonance...there's just something much different with them. The best russian basses have it too, although after about Ab1 or G1 they go into a weird "OH" sound and it sounds too covered/weird. Riley doesn't do that.
