When he muted you or temporarily blocks you on text, just let him know you’ve no time for his games. Call his bullshits out and give him all the space he wants in the world. It’s not a revenge, it’s just that you need not continue to prioritize people who don’t prioritize you and you also have better options out there.

Whenever someone does this, I simply delete his or her phone number. I do not tollerate the lack of respect. After deleting their phone number, they suddenly wake up and write to me and then I ignore them. Life goes on. I've got no time for these stupid games

I think it’s a form of control. In my case, he texted me first. Whenever I responded I was left on read. He typically have great communication, at least he did in the past. Now he thinks I’m not as invested as I was. Sometimes it’s a tactic to gauge how you feel. He thought I was going to get mad and react. I didn’t. That made him even more confused. So…..people just stop playing games. This isn’t high school. Men are constantly losing good women b/c of this.

Ladies, there is nothing wrong with asking someone what is going on when you are treated this way. It’s not needy or self deprecating. It’s what adults do. Communicate. But really he’s being passive aggressive if he was pursuing you and is now doing this. He either wants you to go away or worse, he is trying to manipulate you and using tactics to get you hooked. Either way you should run.

Thanks for this video! I just leave the door open and send him a text once in a while wishing him well and letting him know I'm thinking about him. No self-pity, no worrying about what I did wrong because I can't know unless he tells me, nothing like that. He's explained how busy he is and I've accepted that he's not willing to make time for me for whatever reason. Nothing I can do or say to fix that and that's okay.

I don't get frustrated with anyone who doesn't reply to me but I do have hard and nervous feelings about it because I feel like they might cut me off.

This is my weakness. Each time he replied, I replied within two hours but we are adults. No game. He is gone now I think. It's very hurtful and humiliating. His last text was 4 days ago " i miss having you around " I replied nicely. He is abroad starting new business. Very busy..when we started taking he was still in my country where he lives and works. I guess I walked into a trap of manipulation idk. Hope the pain will fade soon 😢 He told me to write if zi felt confused and having doubts, said he understood but he was confident to be back soon and meet and build sonething beautiful together He only called me 3 times in the first weeks. We almost met for a date but I didn't have time and the next time he had a flu with fever etc. Then he went on vacation to recover ftom stress and found a business oppertunity there. Well. Good part is no more stress but you still keep wondering.

I already made these mistakes 😢😂 i mean, my reaction was justified in my situation. Let me explain: he flaked me twice successively without giving me any reasons, i had only "i will call you, i have problems". I waited for few days and he came back. But that situation had already happened to me once and he knows i do not appreciate this behavior. When he came back to me, i naturally asked if his problem was fixed and what it was. He responded to the first question, but not to the second one. I then sent him a kinda reminder which he did not respond to. I said "every time i am writing i have no response. Should i stop writing?" = no response. I was very frustrated that i ended up saying "sorry, i think i am brothering you. I got it". First, it was not respectful not to respond, second, i had no justification for him flaking me the other time / not even a sorry, third he comes back with no justification. My patience has limits as well.

I’m having this right now it’s happened 3 times already and his excuse is I’ve been ill each time the longest was 4 months I just deleted him of Facebook I’m 42 I don’t wanna be playing these games I’m happy being single 😊😊😊😊

If it's someone you have just met then delete them and move on know your worth . If it's someone who has been into you one min then all of a sudden starts ignoring you then you need to ask what there problem is ! If they give you a bs answer then you know there playing games and probably were never really interested in the first place

abc: You'll be constantly asking that question. Ive had several men recently either takes days to respond to a message or they ignore my message, the longest was 2 weeks to respond. I cut them off. You look at their actions. If they cannot text back in a decent time, get rid. If they treat you like shit, get rid. If they are controlling, insult you in any way, mess you about or just want sex and its not reciprocated, get rid of them. They will not be honest, most bullshit their way out of things or they just ghost now. I'm sure women do it too but this is just my experience. Don't take shit from them. I give them one chance, they do it again and im out...it doesn't bother me anymore, not sitting like a twat wondering what went wrong, i used to do that years ago and its a complete waste of time and energy and they really just aren't worth it. If someone really does like you, they will make the effort.

I always make an effort to call everyone back, but sometimes there's the type that want you to drive to them, never the other way around. And they want you to keep them company doing something you don't particularly want to do. If I'm super busy and I don't want to have to make a person like that feel bad by saying no, I just ignore their call or call them back in a few days.

I guess when someone takes the time and effort to block you on Facebook, they are no longer interested in pursuing a friendship.

What would you say it means if someone ignores you on one platform but not on any others? I have a new friend who used to read my Instagram msgs and reply but has stopped even reading them. She still interacts with me on facebook, still sends me text msgs…she will post a story on Instagram (where’s she’s ignored a few different msgs from me, sent on different days) and then she will go over to Facebook and comment on one of my posts or send me a text. It seems like a game of some kind but I don’t see why it’s happening. I know for sure she knows I’ve sent her a few messages and she is not reading them on purpose.

Would you say that this is still the case in a dating situation that has gone for about 1-2 months where the guy said it's exclussive. And where he said he is looking for serious relationship? He calls daily texts daily and dates in person 2-3 times a week. Then all of a sudden he starts to ignore and pull away. Ghosting? Shouldnt I address that or not say anythi g and play it cool?

Matt What if you've been out of contact again for awhile. Then he slowing stops dropping hints, likes one of your posts, posts a song, and then finally posts something on one of his outdated profiles (the only one you're on) hinting about some health issues he having. So, you finally take the bait and message. Both of you message back and forth for 3 days. Just once a day each, in depth about real life current issue, length of text increasing in length progressively, by each of us. All going well, then after the 3 days, he stops for 2 days. I know not to do anything more until he does. But, I just dont understand what's going on.

Please, may I ask some things? 1) Is it normal to text someone, and them replying to you 1 month later, or even 3-4 months later ? 2) Does family play a role here? For instance, if you are single, but they have a big family to care, is it still normal for them to take 3 months to answer you back? 3) Is it normal that you are texting them to inform them that you had a recent loss (pet loss, but that's not umimportant, right?) and them not replying at all for 1 month or more ? 4) Is it normal that you inform someone (in physical presence) that your animal is actually dying, and them replying "Ok", then start the car engine on, and leave you on the cold, without asking if you need any help with the dying animal? The questions above are for separate cases I have experienced. Thanks :)

In my humble opinion none of the above are normal nor typical for most. Scatch that. Simply not being typical or the norm arent necessarily the right words or reason. The word i mean is unacceptable. I find that as unacceptable behavior. I would just let go of those people and move on.

This has recently happened to me. 6 hours passed without a response but he was active meanwhile. So eventually I decided to block him. Way too annoying and disrespectful.
