    I love the audience reaction to the mention of Frank Sinatra. I wonder how many generations have come to enjoy and admire this man's talent. He's on par with The Beatles and Elvis.

    What's funny is that Harry to me is on the same level that Sinatra was to Harry, and if me and my girlfriend were on the same elevator as Harry and Jill, and he pulled the same Sinatra move on my girlfriend right before leaving the elevator, I'd be OK with it ;)

    Harry Connick was referring to the Society of Singers tribute to Sinatra in 1991. Harry sang "More" right in front of Frank, stopped, and said: "I'm sorry, Mr Sinatra, you are my idol. I'm so nervous I forgot the words. " I have a tape of this. All the great old band singers were there.

    This is where I have a problem with people that are so Starstruck and I just don't understand it Frank Sinatra he was down Mafia okay it is not my kind of music to begin with okay he would not have been pressed me one way or the other now let's talk about Harry Connick Junior very talented good singer he seems to be upright stand-up guy from what we can see in front of the camera and God bless him but to be Starstruck and over him that that's wrong and I say this so honestly and with an open heart and I think it goes to my childhood I was Raising often as from the age of five until I aged out and now I've been in that home we're always entertained by Entertainer the movie stars singers with original was on by Carlene Moore the silent screen star so Clark Gable the list goes on and if it tells you who I was around when I was five years old I'm 74 now I went out into the world cosmetology school I met a gentleman I lived with for a year he's a legendary he's a legend today people calling to me he's a son of a b**** but I won't even go there and what people say about him their life but I'm going to stop right there my husband he was a carny and he took me on quite a journey through my life ever been married with him in my children we were very well-traveled my girls were very well educated by the world they were around stars and time they wanted to because all the singers and entertainers that entered into the fairgrounds everything was free we got to meet him. No big deal I am. I just I guess I was pretty much indoctrinated into it I guess I guess that's the way I view the entertainers of the world. as I said I have met many of the world there was only one person that I ever paid to go see and that was Stevie Nicks and it was worth every dollar that I stand and I got the ticket off of the street in Austin Texas I thoroughly enjoy your show but did I want her autograph and no did I want to meet and greet snow but I thoroughly enjoy the show and to me they don't get any better than that and KD Lang my word she is the best but I would not fall down over her and no I think I could speak to her just like I speak to my childre.. I attended a party at in La my boyfriend that time he done the Glen Campbell show his name is not important that cause we had VA de la la la la the VIPs then we went to a private party after the show Frank Sinatra Dean Martin Dom DeLuise oh my God Richard Burton I have never been so bored and all my life and I was never so glad to get out of there and get my jeans on get me a sweater on and really have a drink and enjoy myself all this stuff next and the up upper at just really this not that's not me I would never fit into Hollywood I've been there many times don't care for it in my day I have gone for a few calls appointments with Tyler agents but I was not willing to even sit on the sofa so that I got nowhere real fast and that's okay cuz I walked out with my pride that was my attitude they knew that that they just really couldn't Jack with him cuz I have a tomboy really mantality if you will that people just need to stop and think about the people of the world of the entertainment World they live in a different world in your and I they don't even connect with us and that is the truth my brother was Entertainer and I know that first-hand there are so many talented people in this world that should be out there in the world making their way in life that they will never make it because they didn't play the game the way it was supposed to be played and that's okay and you ask yourself why do some make it and some don't make it and there's a lot that make it that are worthy of it and there's a sign that he wanted to fight in the hell did they do to get in their position well I think we know all about that and what happens. and timing is everything as well been at the right place and at the right time by believe that as well so there are many factors that goes into been an Entertainer. Lights camera action

    Frank was very good , However I don't think he even comes close to Barey Manilow.vHe is so musically gifted he does things I don't yet understand at all! Besides, did Sinatra have the gestures, put as much passion and every fiber of his body into his performances.? Did he actually touch hearts the way Barry does. I saw him on a Today show or something and it was all women who had a dreamy eyed look in thier eyes. His catalog of popular songs is pretty impressive and those are only the main ones. He can act . I saw Harmony and the vocals were incredible. I didn't even know there were that many harmonies. Anyway, he also gives the audience thier moneys worth. I could probably go on but even though he collaborates on some things, I know he is probably one of if not the most gifted by God performers ever. But he seems pretty humble. I think he is fully aware that all credit goes to God.

    @gustafsone

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Angel Guadarrama They are both completely different though. While Sinatra was no doubt probably the biggest inspiration to both of them, Harry is the complete package. He writes and arranges all of his songs along with playing piano, while Buble sings standards just like Sinatra did. In my opinion, they are both needed. Another artist similar to HCJ that I like a lot is Jamie Cullum. He also arranges his songs and writes the lyrics but he has his own style which incorporates jazz with a modern pop sound. While that sounds like a terrible combination, he really pulls it off. I guess my point is that as a vocalist, I think Buble is just as good as HCJ and Jamie Cullum isn't far behind them. HCJ is my favorite simply because I've been listening to him a lot longer but I like the other two almost as much.

Seems to me he had little man syndrome but got away with it bc he was never without his bodyguards and of course a lot of people knew he was connected to the mob. The worst is the story trump told stern where frank had his bodyguard beat the hell out of a newlywed guy with his wife that asked for a pic.

    Yeah. It's clear that Harry doesn't have any actual talent or worked his ass off to deliver on the expectations that were foist upon him. Complete hack without years of study and dedication under his belt to claw his way up in a niche industry with a very selective audience. Nope. That's all nepotism. BTW, even if Sinatra didn't benefit from nepotism, as a person, I'd rather know HCJ over Frank any day. Coming from nothing and being an asshole doesn't make you a better person than someone who came from a family with a name for themselves, but who knows how to be a decent human being.
