Just an update from my post a year ago, I am extremely blessed!! In school, the semester is almost over. But GLORY be to God because I am passing every one of my classes. God kept his word. I'll be working at a new job in a couple of weeks also. So I am thankful. 1 year ago, I had no job or no direction, I wasn't in school. I had actually lost my job so this is just a reminder to me that God did it!! He came through! Amen!! Thank you guys again!!

If anyone reads this, wow he hits on some points. I fight to be faithful to God, of course we all have sin even if unaware, yet I see my "Mild Christian Friends", those who never study the bible, who aren't in it too much, BLESSED BEYOND BELIEF, wife, kids, successful business, pastors blessed beyond belief. Then me, I've had times, but last 3 years my brother died, my son, my mom, business in shambles, seems like God is not here except I do experience His presence once in awhile, the worst feeling in the world is to feel God is opposed to you, Job said "You have become unto a enemy to me", my pastor is useless, house, 4 kids, doesn't understand the concept of suffering, I'm just so frustrated I feel like screaming, did in fact the other day. Why won't God bless me? What did I do? What's wrong with me? Even this pastor talking about suffering has money, wife I'm sure, and kids.

Oh dear, can I relate!!! I was just talking about this with my coworker, the unbelievers "seem" to be blessed than us. It may seem unfair that the wicked, ungodly, worldly, wolves in sheep's clothing prosper. God is more concerned about those who truly love him despite of their circumstances. If we start comparing ourselves, that's when envy grows and envy is a sin. When we start questioning our situation even when we have been "faithful", it is in and of itself a lack of faith. Let's look at our true motives, do we really obey Him because we're supposed to or because we are expecting a reward? I admit I'm guilty of this sometimes but in the end, other people's "blessings" are beyond our control, God will deal with them accordingly. Look at apostle Paul, one of my fave Biblical character, he was devoted, left his wealth and authority to spread the word of God on foot (!) but he kept experiencing challenges, shipwrecked, visually impaired, imprisoned. Yet he never faltered and fast forward to centuries later, Christians all over the world still study and are blessed by his writings, some of them were written while he was living a hard life in prison. It's hard to understand God's ways but just like Paul wrote: "I have learned in whatever state I am to be content" Phil 4:11

I hear you, I too question a lot of what God is doing in my life. I've watched him for 6 going on 7 years blessed my siblings with a family and also those around me with a husband, wife, kids, job, car, finance, traveling etc. but he has put me in a position where I am on my journey to get my life going. Does it hurt, absolutely, especially when a relationship doesn't work out or when life does not go now where near how you want it to. I fear that God is going to let me die alone without having a husband or children, or without my finance getting better and my life getting somewhere. It hurts a lot. For the last 3 years I walked away from God and was angry, yet whether I serve him fully or not it did not get me certain things I wanted. I understand suffering, as I have suffered a lot in my life, but this year, I decided to start new and actually deal with things differently. It is about how we act in the journey not how the journey acts to us. Its about our response, God uses our journey as a testimony for someone else, he also uses it to refine our spirits and shape us. He uses it to bring us closer and sometimes far enough for us to walk away and realize that we need him still and that he is always there with open arms. Even in the times that I rebelled and went further away God always spoke to me and showed faithful to me. He has shown me that he hears everything and knows my pain and my hurt. I know you have been through a lot of loss but I believe that God will raise you up and that he has purpose for your pain, he has purpose for your loss, and not to look at what others have, because not everything is as it seems. We need to come to an understanding that God has purpose in EVERYONE'S life, just cause the grass is green does not mean it will stay green all year long, in other words, not because someone looks like they have everything, means they have everything. Im sorry that you went through all those sufferings, I too have asked God what is wrong with me? But there is nothing wrong, he wants to raise us up, but you and I need to pass the test of faith. Without faith it is impossible ---IMPOSSIBLE--to please God. We can't say that we want him to act yet we do not act on our own selves. So I pray that for you and many others like us, who are in the fire waiting to be rescued. I think of the three Hebrew boys and I could only imagine how they must have felt knowing they were going to go into the fire even though they refused to serve another God. They acted in faith in that fire, they chose to believe and God restored them. God bless.

+Google Times you should read Psalm 73. Verse 27 sums up the whole thing, "They that are far from you shall perish: you have destroyed all them that go a-whoring away from you." It may seem like these people are blessed, but at the end of the day, if they don't know Christ as their Savior, their end is a fiery abyss. We should pity these people. We might have hardship, but we have the hope of heaven, and eternity with God. They on the other hand have the opposite. 70, maybe 80 years of good living, and then an eternity of torment, and suffering because that rejected the answer to their biggest problem: sin. It can be difficult, but sometimes, God allows us to encounter hardship to make a statement. In fact, sometimes he'll make things worse as was the case at the Red Sea. God allowed for them to get freedom, only to then put their backs against the wall with Pharaoh's army barreling down on them. Read Exodus 13 v.18. God explains his reasoning for what was about to happen next. "And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen."

Who ever you are! You posted this at the right time! I was looking through my bible app searching for a word by God about my life. What job to look for and what college to go to. Just looking for direction and within 1 min of doing that , my phone notifies me that you guys uploaded a video. So immediately clicked on it to see if it had anything to do with my current situation and with not even 1 min of the video, it's an illustration of my current situation . Wow!!! Thank you for being lead by the Holy Spirit! I haven't even watch the whole thing yet but I just know already that it's wisdom in this video for my life. Thank you! You guys and this church a a blessing. Please continue to encourage your people using KZread ! It really blesses me! I know I'm not the only one!
