I hear you and feeling you have to buy right away or it’ll disappear!
I've been waiting since February to book my trip for November and the tix haven't dropped, been worried my trip would be impacted since I'm on a budget. Now I can estimate when to anticipate their release thanks.

Glad it was helpful! We felt the same way! November is a great time to go, excited for you!! Have you been before?
Why would they release the schedule/ticket on a seasonal basis? I just dont understand

That’s a great question- I wish they’d be on a perpetual future 6-8 months open or something like that. Is that what you mean?
I've been watching like a hawk. Still no update for Nov-Dec.

For us it was mid July - I’ll post when I see it out!
So If I want to book in May 2025, I need to check around Dec 23, 2024. Thanks

Keep checking between Nov-Dec for updates or check back here since timing can change!
Thank you for your videos! I'm going to study abroad in Japan this September and I'm helping my roommates plan their trip to visit, so Zip Air is thoroughly being considered for its prices lol. I was wondering though so for carry on bags or checked bags, if it is over the weight limit what do they do then? And do you have the option to purchase more than one bag to check? They want to do a lot of shopping haha

So excited for you!!! What area? You can buy up to 5 checked bags. I don’t know personally what they’ll do but my assumption was they will make you get rid of stuff to meet the weight one way or another… Lots of shopping is the way to go - make it count haha!

@@thisjalife Thanks!! My university is in Tokyo 😁 Ok that’s good to know! But also scary 😭 I’m gonna tell them that they should pay for at least two on the way back haha. It’s nice that one can be 30kg though!

@zenaidatygart3587 that’s what we did where we just bought an extra!
I was checking the baggage policy for Zip air. I plan to use three suitcases, but I think I will exceed the weight of 7kg. Is that 7 kg total, or 7kg per suitcase?

Total for the person

@@thisjalife thanks for the information! I think I’ll spend a few extra dollars and fly JAL. I plan on spending a lot on souvenirs, so my baggage will not be light.

@davidebert8034 my husband would agree! JAL or ANA
Just a warning on using Zip Air. I used them recently to fly Tokyo to SE Asia. They allow 7 kilos carry-on and a personal bag. However, Zip Air weighed both of my bags. When they weighed my carry-on (6.5 kilos) and personal bag (4 kilos) they combined the weight (this is something other airlines rarely, if ever do). Since the weight was combined at 10.5 kilos, I was forced to check in my carry-on bag at the airport for an additional cost of 6000 yen which is around $40. The flight back I used Air Asia, and there were no issues. I will not use Zip Air in the future.

@jonb3189 interesting I always thought they’d just make me throw stuff away but not let me check. Sorry you had that experience

@@thisjalife Zip Air is the only airline that made me weigh both my carry-on and personal bag, and then combine the weight. No other airline has done this to me. Suspect that this is somewhere in the fine-print of the ticket that they do this. Regardless, unless Zip Air is less than 6000 yen compared to the other airlines, I will avoid them in the future,
