That's Erica's house. DC insisted on paying the down payment, although Erica had the money herself. She did however asked him to move in when things were good between them. He didn't want to move in, but he went ahead, and he broke the lease to his apartment to do so. Big mistake on both their part.

I could be wrong, but I think that Erica had the money for the down payment and when Erica showed him the house very happy he told her he would give her the down payment for it (low grade, high impact pimpin from E). Now he saying it’s his house and he not leaving (low grade, boomerang pimpin gone wrong).He may have offered the money as a down deposit for him to be able to later lay claim to it too just in case she was ever honest about not really wanting him like that later down the line.

Why is running away from something is the first thing people decide to do. Why we can't work on our relationships and love each other. Everything time gets hard, people run!! @@Ommarrie That's true, but coming from a person that has been married 19 years....there's just times where people are just plan off!! You go through those moments. Now, this situation issue is that DC was 2nd choice....that's the real issue but if you take that away and they just had this issue....being married has an agreement...for better or for worst....once you agree, you just agree!! It takes hard work and dedication. We do this with everything in our life's...why not do this with marriage!! You're not going to always feel like loving the person you married to. Same with your jobs, same with your kids, same with every relationship you have in your life. Marriage is no different!! Just got to be willing. The older generations had way more issues with way more marriages!!

​@Mactonio74 DC did NOT purchase that house. That's Erica's house. DC insisted on paying the down payment. Erica had her own money and even offered to give it back to him but he wouldn't take it. Her mistake was asking him to break his lease to move in (when things were going good between them).

Yeah, it seems like such a miserable situation. She doesn’t want him like that, didn’t even want him like that before they conceived that second child. Now he seems to think that it’s best for all three of them to be in the same household even though he knows she doesn’t want him like that and he already carry feelings for that. Seems like a miserable choice for all three.

Erica thought it was going to be that easy parting ways with DC. DC NOT LETTING YOU GO. That was just all talk the other day.

He moved in after Erika had already closed and was living there. He is likely not on the mortgage/ deed.

She told him she had her down payment. He insisted on paying the down payment. That does not mean he is a partial owner unless she added him to the mortgage. If I was her, a cashiers check would be drafted and handed to him to reimburse his $28,000 towards the house.

@tonyabrown93 I'm not new to this. She wouldn't had that house if he didn't pay the closing. Did she try to give him his money back for the closing costs? Nope didn't even say anything about it. Nobody pays closing and expect temporary. When you pay closing you expect to have that home until it's sold
