People get WAY to overconfident! I was recently dueling the classic @Ignestar and they Summoned the boss monster with 6K attack and I humored them a bit before just attacking directly twice for game.

My favourite method with dealing with Crooked Cook is piercing damage although that has gotten a bit more difficult to do since they’ve added attack negation to their decks That or using it for Underworld Goddess. I managed to do that to an opponent twice in the same duel

Magikey's also got an answer to the Cook! Magikey Spirit - Vepartu (assuming she has a Normal Monster as material) gains an effect that, when she battles an opponent's monster, she can detach 1 material to make the opponent send that monster to the GY. (In fact, this gets past ALL Unaffected-tier protection.)

@@devilos250 cause that’s an effect the magikey xyz monster makes your *opponent* send that monster to the GY. It’s the same sense in Evenly match cause it makes your opponent send it.

When they summoned Shunya I immediately knew what they were up to, I was asked by a friend who likes to make gimmicky decks about the Shunya's ruling and it doing burn damage equal to the total ATK of every banished monster. Exploiting that is seriously big brain and I appreciate it! xD

Crazy thing is I just beat one yesterday with Dark Calvary, and I beefed him up with my Apprentice, Purple Poison, and Double Iris lol did over 10k

Haven't seen crooked cook opponent in a while, I thought no one is using it again. I always happy if they only end it with this one monster and no other floodgate.

crooked can only become unaffected if the owner doesnt control other card... so if they have floodgate, it beat the point of the deck.

@@zerocalvin ah so that's what's banned. Thanks for clarifying. I forgot that's including backrow cards, I always remember it as only 'control no other monster card'. Since I remember one of the ways to nullify the effect is by giving it another monster on their field.
