If law enforcement had no budget, they wouldn't get supercars. They're super for getting super-robbed, super-negative attention, super bad life choices, and more. "Super" cars are only good for about a week of the year if you don't drive out of a town/city. Stuff that works year-round, is safe, is very effective and efficient, and is overall a really great vehicle is what the police need.
