I have never enjoyed anything in England like watching these showings of the series I felt very sad when jack died is was a funny end but I would love to watch the next lot o series it real clean viewings

I cried and cried when the character Jack died. I did not see that coming. I really hate that.

Just finished Season 5, and I am relieved that I did know from this video what would happen, less shock! I am sorry to hear that you had the experience of finding out on the show though. I like the way they moved through the scenes about and post Jack’s death? It will be interesting to see how Season 6 continues on, but I will definitely be watching. When will it be out? Has anyone read the books? I also liked the way the children played more of a role in Season 5. Now I will watch Anne with an ‘E’ - am thinking I want to check spoilers on KZread first though!

@@eloisebrynlee Season 6 has been airing on TV through the Hallmark channel, it started on Feb 24th. It won't be on netflix for a while unfortunately.

The actor chose to leave. They did their best. I really like the salon owner. He is great if they do not become a couple I hope they bring in a love interest for him. Elizabeth could take over the Abigail role

They built the relationship up so much that his death is devastating to the watchers. If they hadn't made it so huge a frontier town loss and remarriage is normal but this was just too much.

I love WCTH and they are right life does go on after you go through a tragedy. Baby Jack is a testament to the love that Elizabeth and Jack shared I'm glad she has a reminder of him. Welcome to Hope Valley baby Jack Thornton.

Very uplifting series. We need more like this, exemplifies the goodness of the human heart and what it is capable of. There is goodness in man .

It would be weird if she did not speak of Jack. I am a widow. Speaking about our loved ones is forever

Christina, I pushed through to the end of season 5 once again sobbing my heart out.

I canceled my hallmark the week after Jack died. I just feel so betrayed that I just had to walk away.

You blame Hallmark when the actor chose to leave the series. Why the heck do you think he was on the series less and less beginning in seasons 3 and then rarely seen in 4. He wanted out. They did the best they could. No way could they recast Jack with another actor.

Hey baby jack has his perks. 1) he’s cute 2) he brings joy 3) he gives Elizabeth a reason to get caught up in some trouble

The baby is SO cute!!!!

Since Season 4, I realized that Jack was going to die when I saw him having so little screen time as a main character. There is one episode in Season 5 where his unhappiness was evident. It just came through. Hallmark should have done better to make him happy. I am sure it was not just because of personal choice as he is saying. I can't watch without Jack, sorry. They should have recast him.

I doubt Hallmark could have made him happy. Daniel Lissing is Australian. Australian actors like to only do a few seasons of a series and move on. Brit actors are the same way. It is the way those countries do TV series. The actors usually only sign a 3 year contract at most. A very different culture from Canada and USA how TV series are done. Nope, Hallmarks' mistake was not hiring a Canadian or American to portray Jack.

If I could have ever been an actress it would have been for a film like this one.

I also cried when jack died. But when Elizabeth found out she was pregnant with baby jack I was so excited and happy that he is carrying on his father legacy

I am currently on Season 5 and I read ahead and now I have given myself the spoilers! At least it won’t be a shock when it happens.. I wouldn’t have predicted that outcome. Love the show though. 💕

season 5 she finds out she is pregnant, 2 months after she married Jack and about a month after his death. Then Hallmark did a Christmas movie where the baby is born and then in season 6 begins with baby Jack already born.

Great show. I love it. At the beginning of the series the clothing and hair and town seemed historically accurate, now... Not so much. Town is too clean, hair looks too modern. Other than that, I adore the show

I think it’s wonderful she had Jacks baby but is he Jack Junior or just Jack, kind of strange

Is there any way to view the Christmas special of when calls the heart. I had to be out of town. I am sooo numbed.

I will watch. Real life is messy. I lost my husband and I appreciated watching Elizabeth go through the grief process

They played all us hearties for their ratings and they won’t play me again. The show was only as good as Elizabeth’s and Jacks romance, and that is now gone. The story lines and writing just don’t have enough to keep my interest and there are a lot of people that feel the same way.

They weren't given much choice. When Daniel Lissing said he was leaving the show, they had to write in his exit. Watch the interviews that explain it. They weren't "playing" anyone and didn't want him fo leave either.
