A lot of breeders wouldn't say that but I respond appreciate the fact that you care. You are not just trying to make a quick buck but are looking out for the snake and owner.

Thank you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I went straight for an adult. 9 years old. Four and a half feet long. Proven temperament. It was a fantastic choice.

That’s cool
I got a 6 month old and she came to my home very socialized. She was already on frozen thawed and ate after only being with me for 3 days. I feel like that was a nice sweet spot where I get to see her grow into an adult and don't have to deal with the early issues. Especially since my beginner keeping skills could harm a baby.
I haven't seen anyone sell a baby under 100g and they have had a few meals in them already. That seems like the ethical thing to do for the best situation for the snake. I like to think breeders all tend to do this.

I would buy a newly hatched baby but I've dealt with a few bp. I would never bring one to a show to sell though. I'd only sell a non established bp to someone who specifically wanted one.

@@R2D242D 3 days old ;O poor snake !
My biggest mistake was buying one from a pet store. She’s proven very difficult to feed vs one I bought from a breeder both bought from 100grams
I got extremely lucky with my baby who was eating live mice when I bought him at about 100g. I got him to switch straight to f/t rats and he's never missed a meal. But again, I was lucky!
Great video
Thank you for this! It’s sad how all the bps I’ve seen at pet stores look like they hatched a couple of days before going on display… they were smaller than the smallest snake in this video. :( Poor babies…
man i wish i had this video 8 months ago! The baby was soooo not the way to go.
Very nice
I might get a snake in 6 months what snake should I get
Hypo stranger clowns are awesome!
Do you think a baby that is over 200-400 grams is an established feeder?
I got a 108 g female as my first snake she ate amazing hasn’t missed a single meal she’s about 180 grams rn
I got a 3 week old and it without hesitation ate a mice the very next day. It also let us handle it from day 1. I guess it depends on the snake and not so much on opinions.

I always make sure my babies take a few meals first. If your is eating, your good!
Gonna have to save this video for later I have a video on the same topic I plan to drop Thursday or so
Hey men, my school has some ball python eggs. I can get one when they hatch. I never had a snake but i have some experience with adult ball pytons. Do you recommend to wait 5-6 months and see if it eats good and then get it? Or should i go for something different?

with all snakes, you should wait until they’re consistently eating. make sure to do a ton of research into what is appropriate housing for a ball python beforehand though.
Get message! And they live 30 years!
