It's complicated. What some people don't seem to realize. When you have shared yourself with someone special for an immeasurable amount of time and things go south one day. A breakup can be akin to having your heart or part of your soul ripped out of you. Your ex is taking those aspects with them leaving you feeling empty and alone, which can turn into anger and resentment.
