    It’s a lofty goal: Gain 10 pounds of muscle in just one month. adonisgoldenratetion.blogspot.com While such results are aggressive and can’t continue at the same torrid rate indefinitely, we’ve seen firsthand individuals who’ve followed our mass-gaining programs and reached double digits in four short weeks, averaging gains of 2-3 pounds a week. Trust us, it can be done. But if there’s one thing such a bold goal needs, it’s an ambitious training and nutrition strategy. In regard to nutrition, don’t even think about taking that aspect lightly. You can work out all you want, but if you don’t ingest adequate calories and macronutrients, you won’t build muscle. What and when you eat is paramount to your results, and you’ll find all you need to know about gaining mass in a short amount of time in our bulking diet meal plan. plus.google.com/u/0/b/116942355888431571118/

    Kali passes nearly all physical benchmarks. He's got size, functional strength, and it looks like he has good endurance. He doesnt have a freakishly strong grip strength ala his collab w/ jason english, but he's got the most complete physique. Very impressive.

  • @JMS1089

    ***** kali has one of the most balanced physiques. you judge him under one criteria. i agree that when you measure him against a competitive powerlifter or strongman, he might not be as impressive. however, i can turn it around and say there are many criteria that those athletes themselves dont pass. athletes like powerlifters, or even other bodybuilders typically favor one aspect of performance. it's rare for some one to have strength, endurance, and aesthetics w/o some trade off.

    jeffstarrunner1 You have the lower body and you have no upper body, you got a problem building...wait a minute. You have the upper body, and you have no legs, you got a problem building your legs. You have the upper...you have the lower body and you don't have the upper body, the upper body, it is easier to build. So if you have the lower body and you don't have the upper body, it is easier to build the upper body. You have the upper body and you don't have the legs, you got a problem building the lower body... No, you don't understand. You have the upper body, but you don't have the lower body, you got a problem building downstairs. You got the up- legs on the bottom, it is easier to build on the top, so you don't have much as a problem.

You have been brainwashed for years by lies of corporate advertising, fitness models and body builders who make money by selling fake dreams to people. A man can naturally build only 30-40 pounds of muscle in his entire bodybuilding career(5-10 years). Kali is 240 pounds muscle at 6% body fat at 5'9". This is Mr Olympia size and conditioning. And none of the Mr Olympia winners nor contestants are natty. Hell he is even bigger than Arnold Schwarzenneger who was 6'2" and 235 pounds. And Arnold himself admitted to using steroids without which he would never have been so big and ripped

  • @EthanBird

    9 жыл бұрын

    When you do strongman training like Elliott you train your central nervous system more so than your muscles, so even though you gain muscle, you don't gain as much as a bodybuilder who's main objective is gaining muscle. So even though Kali is much bigger than Elliott, he isn't as strong.

  • @argentum3919

    @argentum3919

    CF Bird Interesting. I've never heard of central nervous system training. That could be useful for my situation. I've got sciatica from weight training, I didn't allow enough time for the disk to heal before getting back to the gym so I ended up with chronic back problem. Very stupid but I was young and didn't know these things back then. Now I'm looking for alternative ways to train so that I don't exacerbate the weakened disk. I see you are young and into your training so take my advice, if you do injure your back or anything else give it enough time to heal, a minimum of six months for your back. Remember that disks do not have the healing properties of muscle, skin and bone so they are harder to heal.

I've seen A few guys at the gym high squatting 405 for reps and 455 for max but in reality their 1 rep max for a real deep squat was 275 - 315. one guy in particular was repping 405 with some half squats and could only legitimately get 275 only 1 time.... 1... lol

    I like body building myself. But a Body builder vs. a Strongman. You would think a Body builder is stronger because of how much muscle he has defined? But it's the opposite. Strongmen do everyday exercises that you naturally do in your life. They do grip strength exercises, and they pick up very heavy objects. A Body builder focuses on different types of exercises…And it leans toward specific muscles they do get you more muscle which can potentially get you more stronger than you were before, but if you want to get brute strength do strongman exercises. That's why Kali is struggling if you were wondering.

    Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if Elliott would beat Kali in a fight. I don't know I just kind of have that feeling, Elliott has a lot more functional fitness, and he's alpha as fuck. He seems like the kind of guy that doesn't need to look huge to have confidence, Kali is huge, but I think he needs to have people constantly talking about how big he is to be confident. I mean at the end Elliott had like this grin on his face like "you may be a lot bigger than me, but still can't do the shit that I can"

  • @jfa-px3mu

    @jfa-px3mu

    daniel vanson Well I hate to go so far as to say it's detrimental, but there is a point where the bigger you get, the worse off you are cause of flexibility, mobility and stamina. I think it's no accident that most of the great heavyweight boxers of all time weren't that muscular. Ali was tall and kind of lean, even though people talk about how big Mike Tyson was, but during his prime in the 80's he wasn't THAT big, I mean he was 5'10, 220 lb., and pretty muscular, but nothing ridiculous, a lot of the guys he beat were actually bigger than him. It wasn't really till later in his career that he really bulked up, but it's no coincidence that his performance in the ring suffered then

  • @jfa-px3mu

    daniel vanson I know you meant street fighting, I was just using boxing as an example. But yea, I don't think Kali would be able to keep up with Elliott if the fight was like a boxing match, and even they tied up and it turned into a wrestling match, if you know how to wrestle, there are plenty of moves that you can use to take down a larger opponent, and get him into a position where he's helpless

    Zer0nite Dude chill out, obviously those two are never gonna actually fight, but there's still nothing wrong with speculating whose physically superior, because their both very strong guys, but have much different bodies. Basically it was just a debate over what's better, being a big, huge, mountain of muscle, but lacks stamina, flexibility, and speed; or the smaller guy, who is still strong, but who's body is more built for functional fitness

  • @j2jwhatsapp

    @j2jwhatsapp

    9 жыл бұрын

    Jeremy Forczyk although thats not the point of the video at all but for argument's sake, elliot is a strongman, the way he trains his muscles are being build to perform, to lift heavy weights so these muscles may not be big but they're equipped to be able to perform feats of strength, bodybuilding is simple building your muscles and making them big, yes you do get stronger but if you're only adding muscle mass, a guy smaller than you but doing strength training will be able to lift heavier weights and probably even do more reps. as far as fighting goes its a whole new story altogether, fighting is more of an art, the guy who understands it better will be able to execute his moves more effieciently and will win, idk if you follow wrestling but this reminds me of brock lesnar, when he moved to ufc a predominantly mma competetion, he was thought to be dominating and he did have his moments, he even won the title but if you really come down to it, he wasn't of the same level as a fighter, he had the goods though, pound for pound lesnar was probably the strongest in ufc that time i have no doubts about that, to add to it he was incredibly fast and flexible too but when it really came down to it he wasn't the best, guys like cain velasquez weren't half as strong as him but were finer fighters and therefore took him down. Dont get me wrong though, he is so goddamn strong that despite his lack of finesse as a fighter, he made up for it with his brute strength

    Heavy squats, behind the neck presses, dumbell shoulder presses standing up. All of those attack your abdominal wall, leg lifts are a good aid as well. But if your diet isnt straight, none of it will matter man.

    Elliot is an athlete, Kali isn't. Look at that, man. Kali is HUGE, yet Elliot beats him. How much of those muscles are inflated air then? People talk about how they used steroids, but look at them, look at the difference. Elliot looks like a fucking strong dude. Kali looks like the mutant Hulk.

    dude its not "inflated". like elliot says. strength and hypertrophy training. just because your strong doesn't necessarily mean your muscular. just because your muscular doesn't mean your strong

    Well bodybuilders dont train for intense performance as much as achieving a certain look. Its incredibly difficult to blend the 2 concepts. Some ppl have the genetics to do it most dont Elliot is in incredible shape but he couldn't win a show Kali is the 2012 mr California but he couldn't hang in a strong man competition its a matter of the focus of your training

    l2 know different type of training. you cant judge kali by going first time stronglifting. its the same as Elliot goes with kali in a daily bb'ing workout. he wouldt last

    If Elliot were to try Kali's routine in the gym, then it would be the other way around. Both are training for different purposes.

    Elliot trains strength Kali trains hypertrophy. Just because your strong doesn't mean your muscular. Just because your muscular doesn't mean your strong. In the words of Elliot himself.
