As an Asian, I relate a lot more to the Asian side. However, I am very aware to the western way of dating as I go to a British school. I love your channel and your interracial relationship.

I do not find it scary to get married after dating for a month since marriage (or civil marriage) is simply to get an USA spouse visa, or Malaysia spouse visa. If you do not like the "civil marriage", then you can always have a civil divorce. Its that simple. Marriage is easy, so is divorce. When I divorced my former wife, I had a kenduri perpisahan where I told her to sayonara.

I think on ”the saying the L word", it was very unfair on the Asians how the video portrayed, because not all Asians are this way. Not all Asians will ask others about their income in such a manner, most of us understand the sensitivity on this issue and leave a space for others. In fact many of the stuff he portrayed wasn't true at least in my part of the world. It is very bad of Kumar to do this to the Asians since he is one.😡

I don't think the Kumar's wanted to be impolite or offend someone. Their point of view shows a slapstick, exaggerated way to portray the differences in their opposite cultures. And of course there are some stereotypes as concerning Asians or Americans. I'm a female German, so my way of living is probably more the american. So on a first date I wouldn't expect a man to pay for my dinner, bc it's not our usual way. But on the other side I also wouldn't be offended if he'd offer.
