Ali had a black father and black mother. He was never seen as mixed race. Scenes you are seeing are during times were black people were still not allowed in certain spaces, by law. Yeah Ali was a heavyweight who in his prime was 6'3, had a 68 inch reach, and I believe weighed about 218 pounds.
