The guitar in The Hateful Eight was loaned to them by Martin Guitars which started in 1833. Their custom shop had also produced several replicas of the guitar that were meant to be swapped out for the smashing scene. It's important to remember that when an actor improvises a line that makes the other characters laugh, in nearly all cases, they have to shoot the other characters' laughter in a follow-up shot, setting up the camera to shoot in the opposite direction, changing lighting, etc. -- so the reaction to ad-libbed lines is usually not happening at the same time as the ad-lib (except in the case of a 2-shot or wide shot).

@@orionred2489 I guess nowadays armies which are not currently in a war, have the luxury to better screen their soldiers for mental abilities or lack of them. We are still in the process in learning how the brain works. Just this year i saw one science news that layed out how newly found parts of brain cells were researched and how many more things they still don't understand about the brain. There are also quantum effects being researched now that take place in the brain. I don't really know this stuff in detail, just heared about it. I just remembered because back then it gave me the chuckles as i was just then in a debate with a transhumanist who claimed how easy it would be to up- and download ourselves one day onto chips. Besides that there are signs pointing to materials used may have effects on the entity, meaning it makes a difference of the nature of the beast of it is based on carbon or silicon, biological or inorganic. Definitely NOT FAKE. John Cleese told how this came to be; they had a very low budget for the movie, and were running out fast. When this scene was going to be recorded, they told they extras they had to keep a straight face, or they wouldn't GET PAID (not fired)... They told them it was crucial for them not to laugh "because it was a serious scene"... 🤪 And then they proceeded to try and get them to break (...for comedy, but also for financial purposes :)) The coconuts instead of horses were also because of budget restraints - renting so many horses was too expensive, and the coconuts proved to be funnier anyway. There's several interviews (on youtube, even) in which John Cleese mentions these things. And I believe there is a longer video where they describe the process of making the entire movie Look up a couple interviews - you'll see. I forget which exact interviews, but the ones by Conan, Graham Norton, Steven Colbert are worth watching either way

There's a really cute documentary about it. He was kind of cajoled into the part, but had to train her for real, and she was NOT doing well. His mom was a dancer and instructor and he knew just how hard you have to work to do it right. She was not giving it her all an it was insulting to him. They were also working like 20 hour days.
The lost in translation scene has me 😅😅😅
Great selection of movies and scenes! Thanks!
Norm McDonald broke character in Dirty Work when Don Rickles was talking to Artie Lange’s stomach in the movie theatre scene. Norm couldn’t keep it together so they finally decided to keep his laughing in.
Bill Murrays contribution to comedy is more of a contribution to making life better 🙏🏽💕
Fun Fact: In ancient Roman times, it was actually considered more attractive for a man to have a smaller unit. Ironically, ancient men would worry their skin-daggers were too big. Quite the opposite of what happens today.

The Biggus Dickkus scene is the funniest scene throughout the whole of the Pythonverse.
Great video.
The actress Next to peter sellers who keeps laughing that looks like such a sweet genuine laugh that I believe she has a really nice sense of humor And probably a great personality very wholesome! 🤔😇😎

the biggus dickus scene for the life of brian ended up being addlibed😊
For "Life of Brian," you should have held out for the line "He has a wife, you know. You know what she's called? She's called incontinentia, Incontinentia Buttocks!" My wife was just getting the hang of English (she's Japanese). She couldn't stop laughing when I translated the line. STILL laughing...
The most annoying sound in the world by Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber is the funniest part of the movie.
Cant believe tommy lee jones almost cracked a smile.
Not saying they’re wrong about the Speed clip but it just plays as relief. Even when I was looking on this clip he just looks glad he hasn’t splattered a baby on the road.
With Kevin Kline, the killing of the dogs, and him eating the fish, I was a laughing mess.
always liked the "saving private ryan" story. the movie was so well done, that you become so involved in the movie, and you feel like they have a moment of peace before the Germans arrive.

I loved A Fish Called Wanda. I totally understand why she was laughing.
Man, I miss Meg Ryan from the 90's. A very rare combination of cute/sexy/adorable.
Damon's acting and laughter in Saving Private Ryan was so fucking bad, there's no way anyone tought that was legit a real laughter to be left in the movie. He just couldnt do a better take!
I'm not sure the Speed one was corpsing. I think Keanu was just trying to convey relief.
The biggus dickus scene was not any kind of blooper. They were not trying to keep straight faces. Those are the faces of people ACTING like they’re trying not to laugh. None of that looked like actual genuine stifled laughter. So gimme a break.

I know that scene in Saving Private Ryan where Matt Damon improvises a funny story about his brother is supposed to be iconic, but it makes no sense. In the beginning of the film, they said the brothers served together in the same company. Later, J. Ryan says the last time he saw his brother Danny was that night in the barn.

That last one is part of the great tragedy of that characters arc, where you see a character with no ill intent that couldn't hurt a fly, being transformed into a killer only to take his own life due to the sheer insanity of it all. It may have been unintentional, but to me it is a crucial part of what makes that charcter and that movie great.

For me, it was that they could not deviate from the norm. Everyone just HAD to push that guy into a box. But that box was for typical people, which this kid wasn't. He ended up dead because he was undiagnosed.

Which would lead to a change in persona due to the transfer from one medium to another. So whatever was downloaded will not be the same entity after it is uploaded again. Anyways :)

"the crew left the scene in the movie" Most likely it was the director and the editor who made this decision, I doubt the key grip was asked for their opinion.
Most of these seem like guesses by whoever made the clip. Like “I bet this was an accident and they went with it, so I, just gonna say it like it’s a fact now”.
