boy her parents are never going to forgive themselves for putting her in that situation Yes I know it was not intentional but still there were reports of a killer around and they sent her to a far off place to watch 2 little kids completely alone for most of the night

I went through a similar ordeal when I was a kid. Several of them, actually. Eighteen years worth! Only my Mother and Stepfather were hardly “strangers”. In fact, they were pretty much the only constant figures in my life.

She's going to traumatized for a very long time. Poor jill 😢

I understand why they felt the need to include this scene, as it is somewhat true to life - even if you survive a horrendous ordeal like this, you'll be dealing with PTSD and other psychological effects. But after so many false jump scares that were added previously to stretch out the film's running time, this just seems like yet another cop-out.

i dont know about that last bit, but i know first hand what Jill went through. ive had so many encounters just like this with my own parents, and im literally still in therapy over it. when someone tries to first degree you, its not like your first roller coaster ride. it gets faster, it goes further down, and you cant do anything but sit there helpless until the maintenance guy shuts the damn thing off. then, of course, you'll probably have to settle with the park owners on how you're gonna keep quiet about it.

Screen Gems was going to do a sequel to be titled "When a stranger returns", where Hayden Panettiere was going to play the babysitter. But Screen Gems cancelled the Sequel. During the making of the film. Camilla Belle was injured twice on the set, she struck a wooden bridge cutting and scarring her hand and also slammed her head against a glass window.

I like to think so based on the cards that were in the room. One was really big...something kids could draw in to say thank you. She went through a lot but she made sure she saved those children.

I seriously want to know what the dad was saying when he was trying to calm her down.

THE STRANGERS PREY AT NIGHT Ending was the exact same. PTSD in the hospital after surviving the ordeal.

No the whole movie isn’t an hallucinating, the Stranger was actually trying to kill her ! The experience traumatized her, she keeps seeing the guy even tho he isn’t really there !

The Care Bears Movie. The similarities are downright uncanny.

Didn’t get into any action into the last like 20 minutes of the movie. Overall it was ok, did have a jump scare that did scare me but only like once. Jill didn’t think very straight

Ærchon Just some stranger. Who did it probably just for the sake of it. Which made this movie even greater. There was no reason for him to do what he did, but people still do that.

@@GraceChase-mt7ks because she relives what she went through, trapped in the very second when that psycho was trying to kill her, making her scream in terror as every little thing that happens uncontrollably brings her back to that even though it’s over. Now she has to be strapped to a bed in the hospital, sedated, unable to live her life, or even have a moment’s peace because she can’t snap out of it. Her whole life is getting stalked by a serial killer in a twisted game of cat and mouse all alone in a house way out the middle of nowhere, nothing before or after. You really don’t call that a fate worse than death???
