This is great information, I met someone I really like but he ghosted me but then a couple weeks later sent me a text about something he said he was embarrassed about, had only met him twice , so I did call him and told him my thoughts of him ghosting me,in a nice way, so I am giving him a second chance which is not like me, normally, but if it happens a third time it will be the last.🎉🎉😊

He was too scared and I just couldn’t keep getting hurt by his avoidant deactivating strategies (his fear of vulnerability). I am an assertive person, and he was very respectful and receptive to what I had to say, I just didn’t have all the words to help us communicate effectively so I shut down. Plus, I knew I could not fix him. He had to want to do the major work on himself to heal his brokenness. I pray for him and do hope he comes back when he’s ready. We had a great connection and are very compatible; just unhealed wounds got in the way.

He let me walk away after he chose to be indecisive and even admitted it was unfair to me. I went no contact, he texted me here and there but with nothing of substance. I didn’t respond because i wasn’t ready to talk to him yet. Fast forward to now 6 mos later he came back saying he only wants me, I’m his best friend, love of his life etc he said he hasn’t been involved with anyone else he just wants me back. But….. the way he made me feel was so awful, I forgive him but I don’t know if I trust what he has to say now.. idk what to do.

People change when you give them time and it’s their choice you don’t have to get back with him but if you’re conflicted you can get clarity while guarding your heart

I agree to be flexible to forgive, even if you won’t continue the relationship. And also for someone who wants to continue the relationship. But like said, everything wrong deeds has to be cleared for not to be repeated again, in that relationship.

Him married, but now widower, has 6 kids plus grandkids. Is a pensioner. He told me he married 4 women: 1st died, left a daughter (4 grand kids). 2nd left with another man but left a step child (1 grandkid). 3rd wife deceased (2 kids). 4th wife he married same time he was still married to latest wife who deceased recently. But he had 1 kid with her. Says he married her traditionally but never retrieved/divorced her. Me married, divorced no child, still working. His sister in law told me he's a serial womaniser and I think I sensed this, but I wanted to give myself a chance as we connected so well over the phone and face to face (3weeks). Currently, it's a long distance relationship. He has tendencies of ghosting and is emotionally unavailable. I've told him off about this after I went quiet on him for 3weeks after he ghosted me for one week. This was after i insisted we talk about our financial stand and how he expects things to move considering he has a very large family. I gave my stand of not wanting those responsibilities on me. He's apologetic and says he still wants to marry me. I've asked God but no clarity yet. My heart and mind are fighting back and forth...heart says you're lonely, mind says he's too much work and not honest and possibly still a womaniser. (I feel so stupid and confused and wasting my energy on the matter)

That story is opposite for me. His family and friends didn’t think I was good enough for him and also that I was 2yrs older then him. So it made him doubt so much that he left me heartbroken 💔 🥺 I am now one week of no contact trying to stay strong.

I agree, personal growth and transformation is the way to rise above the actions you may regret. If you can do the inner healing, you have a chance to fix what was lost. You must consciously choose to heal and understand your actions/behaviors/traumas, so many doors will open for you. Ego and Pride is what kills relationships I agree with u brother. Some times people won’t give u the chance. And that hurts but it’s okay. This gave me the opportunity to continue to work on my self because the truth is. I wasn’t looking for a man. And when he came, I wasn’t ready at all and had hurt from the past. I closed my self to love for 15 years to the point I said no to love ANDNI was okay with that. But, closing myself left me in a horrible situation because I didn’t heal and closing myself wasn’t okay. But now I am healed and whole and not afraid anymore. I was that person who was very resistant and the connection was there but I told him and was honest, I need to heal so I can embarrass him fully. And I didn’t entertain anyone and I love him. And I don’t entertain because I’m faithful to God and this is His temple. But he kept rejecting me. I kept going back but his emotions kept rejecting me. I changed and I got better but he didn’t want me. And that is what was hard brother. That hurt because for the first time, I choose a man and I wanted him. Because before I was fearful because I was raped by my father and survived that evil. I lost two sisters within 4 months because of the evil my dad did. Then the guy after that left me drowning with his unborn child then the second guy kidnapped me. And I said no after that. I was 20 years old and said no to men. So, here I was, and I messed up and asked God to help me because I’m attracting abusive men. I learned the Word more then ever, I read easther and Ruth. I was always a Ruth. But this time with no hate. Lol but I’ve watched ur videos and RC Blake and Paula white courses on relationships.

Question: in our western dating culture, do we put too much emphasis on "connection?" Shouldn't we focus more on values? Oftentimes the initial connection we're feeling is based off really superficial things and once the luster fades we're left with someone we're deeply incompatible with. I have felt connection before and things didnt work out, so maybe we need to use our brains more in the beginning and let connection/love grow over time. I'm sure there's no right answer, just genuinely curious.

Stephan, I feel like most of your videos appear on my screen when I need them the most. It's like the universe or the Lord is sending you from somewhere to guide me and use you as a tool so I can hang on and believe in Love again. I was ghosted by a good guy with great qualities. I thought we were good, then he turned off just like a switch and gone. Hmmmm I think he didn't handle the last convo we had via chat, I showed him my vulnerabilities and some of my weaknesses. Now I kinda hate myself for doing that. I went to church and attended a mass yesterday, then I realized, he may also be God sent from somewhere , used him as a tool to help me fix some areas of my life. This guy may not be my boyfriend or partner at this time but hey life is good. I wanna reframe my perspective and don't wanna consider myself as a victim. I still thank God for sending him to my life. And yeah, I think this is a good bye for both of us. I will move forward , continue living my best life and be ready for God's next blessings. Wow this was on time. Met a great man. Was prophesied that he was my husband (person admitted that although God told them that, He never told them to tell me). But he’s not ready for relationship. When I prayed about it, God only told me “be patient”. Now we are distant and giving each other space. I was prophesied to by more than one person he will come back around. I just talked to God last night that by the time he comes I don’t know how I will feel because my heart is hurt. I think in all matters we have to seek God because only he knows the true intentions of a man’s heart. In the past had a man walk away from me then come back talking about he wanted a relationship…as he was talking heard the Lord say “don’t trust him”. Therefore I didn’t open my heart and less than 2 weeks he ghosted me. So I just ultimately trust that God will protect my heart.

I’m over it 😡 I’m gonna be real I don’t want anything to do with my ex boyfriend and I’m praying that he never comes back to me I blocked him on Facebook and before I blocked his number I texted him saying if you see me in public don’t say anything to me. Wow, all so true! After my husband died,I dated for twenty years before finding a very strong connection with an avoidant man. He said he needed a couple of years. I put pressure; He ghosted me. I pressured; he came back, but was by then fighting cancer . The connection was still strong, but he broke up again and has been silent for a year and a half, with a few breadcrumbs here and there, while I kept “talking”. I feel sure that we will reconnect some day and I want to be ready. Thank you Stephan for your good information.

I just started journaling my feelings and you are so right!!! When I would argue those things I would end up feeling more attached to the person! But when I journaled about it instead afterwards I felt like and that's fine I can let all that go and the person go if need be! I guess cos I took care of myself in that way! So it cleared up the illusion of needing him! 💡

Spot on for me on we stop trying because it hurts too much, not because we don't really care. Going through a sudden break-up now, he decided it by himself, thought only at himself, he admitted it. I accepted and went no contact, even if it shattered me. I stopped asking for explanations, not because I don't need them, but because I am too affected. After 1 year and a half he said he can only see me as a friend, but for me that's not an option. I know I did the right choice, but for who truly loves it will always hurt.

What if he blindsided you with a breakup and told you he’s moving away forever and you’re confused. Then I texted him to see how his life is going and he continued communicating with me like nothing happened never apologized so I communicated how I felt and blocked him before he responded.

Question- why can’t you heal while together (if both are aware) individually and together?

What if he was the one to leave because of my unhealed baggage that I brought in to the relationship, he ended up walking away but he ended up coming back. When he came back we talked a lot and told him that we need to take it slow and actually try to heal first before anything else

So i watched a ton of “the art of detachment” , let them walk away motivational speeches and now I see this smh lol me and this guy have a connection but we parted ways.

100% But if there's a real connection, what happens when the other person doesn't believe in God ? 🙏

that's a tough one. Do more analyzing and go deep with reasons and see things clearly. Look at the long term of it, how things are likely to pan out. Use wisdom. Will the connection last? Will it be real in two years time? Why or why not?

If you believe in God and he doesn’t… I can tell you that alone should be a deal breaker. You’re unequally yoked. Simply put your values about life are different. You can apply that principle to anything relationship. Values are the source of our thoughts and actions. God bless you ! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I’m starting to think there is no such thing as a real connection without love. Your love should be connected by the love you have for God. I’d say it depends on their mindset and whether or not they’re open to believing in God.

He came back after ghosting me for 2 years for no reason at all He disappeared when i was going into a major surgery and i didn’t even block him When he called yasterday i said i really can’t remember you i don’t know anyone with that name and i have to work now so bye 😂

He’s ghosted me for 3 weeks now he came back in life September this year

I went through that three weeks ghosting then he’s texted me he wants to reset. Mind you he did it twice I didn’t respond to him I’m not desperate, before that he was making some excuses that didn’t make sense. He got two opportunities to prove himself and he did the same thing

So practical thank you

My ex broke up with me oct 3rd 2022 last year he said it was because of college we went to the same college. I knew he would comeback and he did and I knew I wouldn’t go back to him fast forward it’s Oct 15th 2023 and he finally decided that we should separate I think he came to his senses that I wasn’t coming back to him cuz I was only entertaining him getting money out of him🤭 welp

I'm not speaking for Stephan but basically get things off your chest in a calm factual way without getting emotional and going off screaming, crying etc etc. It makes complete sense.

I'm in a situation and I'm 44 years old and I've been intimate with a 25-year-old I am a cougar but that is a little extreme on my part but I have been involved but the situation is that he stated we're not in a relationship I understand that I have been I could have been in a sexual relationship but there's no way I would do that with someone as young as him and it's like I feel guilty I don't think I could ever be with this person again considering his age but I have been with him but I do want to respect him and the fact that I'm not seeing him as a child but I'm saying that someone that I don't want to effect to much... What does is mean when he sends you a pic of us back on the day. Also when he says “ I miss you “ but then not make plans to see me etc It’s the mixed signals I think 😂he forgot he told me he loved me a few theses ago but when I said it back I meant that and now I’m finally healing I think but 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ I just feel men don’t normally do that so confused I don’t even want he wants But alot of times he is a fast tester sometimes but anyway I need a session with Stephannn n😂😂💀💀 I assume he’ll be a player for longer then I can wait so 🤷🏽‍♀️
