Just imagine Lottie, only 1 guy in his free time created this whole experience (minus the one guy who created the boats, Red, the the couple map specific weapons), Benny/John McClain.....in way less time than the entire dev with an influx of Chinese money, and all that game sales money took to even change can opening sounds and still forget to return our missing weapons, never even added Utes Island Military Compound into the south sea like they were supposed to.... complete bums 🙄😅

@@johnnygeorgopoulos4072either the Devs are working on something entirely new or they just don't care about the game enough. Each update feels more out of touch than the last and it's almost as if they're just getting lazier with what they add to the game. The modding community literally saved DayZ

  • @johnnygeorgopoulos4072

@@jamesgibson1670 at least someone's on the same page as me 😅(usually people try their hardest to make excuses for the devs) Now Bohemia is hard at work making Arma 4(Arma Reforger as the testbed), but the DayZ side of things has been hiring people, they're still hiring people for the DayZ "side"(game project), they got a large influx of Chinese money a couple years ago as well. They're clearly not putting in a quarter of the amount of effort either Rust or Scum devs are, both of those are almost the same age as DayZ SA, with similar sized dev teams, yet month after month, those two survival games (which both started as DayZ clones/copies) get fantastic updates, while we get literally nothing...I don't count removing buildings and changing can opening sounds to be "doing something"..... especially not to expand and better the game.... I mean, it's DayZ... the game and name is infamous, and they're doing nothing to improve it.... and leaving it up to the modding community to create and add in features and content that they, the devs themselves were, and have promised to add, is utterly pathetic....a ton of PC players don't want to play "modded" servers, like Paul for example here, he'll play modded, but extremely lightly modded or modded maps, but there's a majority of players who just want some of these extra features and content inside the vanilla game, same with console players who literally can't use mods even if they wanted to. The bare minimum could be done and could really transform this game for the better, but they refuse.... returning all the missing and shown and promised weapons should've and could've been done by now, adding to base building with just a few more pieces could completely transform it, and giving us anything "end game" to actually do besides spawn, loot, shoot, die, repeat.... I mean look at Deerisle here.... little missions would be a simple addition to get people moving and something else to do. They're just lazy and completely unimaginative.... they're not working on anything else, at least not a sequel as everyone swears is coming, they're just milking it....they literally teamed up with another completely different survival game to promote a sale between the two separate games.... how utterly pathetic is that? 🙄

That's why I love the video length, sort of. I don't watch live content pretty much at all, especially if it's off KZread, but the way this is cut and the story is told I do not at all feel like I missed 90% of the journey, unlike when people upload 1 video with 30 minutes of runtime to condense 20 hours of playthrough. This is perfect, it's also long enough to really get immersed and invested im the journey. Almost like a little audio book, but with visuals. Watching through one or two hours of video is not even detrimental considering all of this, it feels more like a privilege to me. I wouldn't wish for it to be any shorter, ever.

That bit of Part 1 where you agree to go hostile reminds me of the “You wanna go?” scene from The Goon.

That guy combat logged in one of the buildings, whilst you were clearing the z’s you locked one in his building, hence the indoor shots. If you hadn’t of gassed his buddy’s corpse you wouldn’t of got him. That’s the version of events I’ve come with at least. Well done sir 👏
