I grew up living in the hood and got a kick out of individuals who had extremely large overiszed music systems in their cars which because the cars didn't run would sometimes run extension wires from their houses to the music systems and play loud music. The systems cost way more than it would have to get the car running.

I like it. Those subs can handle a lot more. I have 2zvx 15s on a taramps bass 8k. Wired to .5. Solid electrical. They love it. I have a DeVille instead of a escalade though. Major props on the grill. Keep up the good work.

Do the zvx 15s handle lows pretty well? I have an evl 15 on 2k and it plays 32hz perfectly fine but anything below it gets smelly quick

I built one of these for my u15s last summer with my dimensions mine called for a 9.5"-10" inner diameter 16"L to get me tuned in the low 30s I say "between 9.5-10" instead of an exact number cuz maaannn did I have one HELL of a time finding something that size to make a port out of I couldn't find ANYTHING that would work it became somewhat of an obsession I did find some HVAC conduit online but it was wholesale only, briefly considered metal stovepipe, those yellow plastic bollard covers and I finally ended up using a quikrete sonotube which I didn't realize til I actually started measuring each "10inch" tube on the shelf & discovered they vary by as much as an inch in either way so I got the one I needed cut it to size and wrapped it in 80mil deadener on both sides and capped it off w the top ring of a bucket I found @ tractor supply shit works mint.

@@thomasstott527 agreed but I had already done a slot port MDF box I wanted to this one for fun I used nice ¾ Red Oak ply, a nice grey stain & poly'ed the snot out of it. It looks great sounds great. I need an SPL meter id love to meter the 2 boxes apples to apples to see which 1 performs btr. They're different dimensions dif volume dif port area but it'd be a fun experiment

I'll leave you with a few facts on why I ditched mines the same day I bought one. 1 SQ 2 SPL yep it'll get brutal 3 damping factor 👈 that's what won me over the ability to control over shooting subs or, kp them in check persay...☺️ 4 ppl are going to want more for less. In my experience if you want a solid reliable amp under 500 bucks rockford, alpine, crossfire, they'll be playing 15/20 years later

I did a lil budget build just to show my club that if u know how to set it up, even a cheap system can still slap. I bought 1 Planet Audio 10" sub from Walmart online every time I had $39, & eventually I had 6-10s. Found a box for 4-10s on offer up & put the other 2 in a box also, Bought a Tape-to-Bluetooth adapter for my Expedition (has 10 Cd changer but I don't use cds) then got a touch screen media player from Wish - $34. Kept adding around & got An older 4,000 watt (some German name I never remember) amp off a friend for $40 (actually says 2,800 Rms @ 1ohm but I still doubt that too, but it does push the subs effortlessly) & that sh*t hit!! After I made my point I got a Kenwood head unit & am currently running L7s of that amp but my point is, if you would have cut out fast food, soda, something... a while ago, u would have a system pieced together. Take 3-4 hrs & Hit a grocery store parking lot & wash some cars for $25 each... Don't "want" ... GET! good luck✌

I got the HD1200 rn hooked up to the single 13w7 thats the problem, not sure what amp i should use to power both of them. Dont wanta have to get another HD1200 would rather have one amp. I got the HD600 for the mids&highs. Powering ZR'S & XR's Component sets.

To be honest bro if u want one amp with power n quality, than i would do the RF t1500 up too the t2500. The hcca 2000, cresendos or zapcos are good musical amps. Wat stopped me was my electrical.

@@thomasstott527 you do realize that 148db is about twice as loud as 137db right? No need to be rude, besides a lot has changed since the mtx2300 was considered a powerful amp. Also vehicle size makes a big difference too. I bet you weren't hitting 137 in something the size of an Escalade.

Lol a 148! Memphis hit 143 with 2 Mojo Pro 12's on 1/3 the Watts 😂 Their 10" Mojo Pro's hit a 141 in a pre fab enclosure 😂✌️ Way less money and cleaner sound. I've done this for 25 years. Y'all won't listen but I will still tell you... Sound quality and price is unmatched when it comes to Memphis, JL, and most Kicker subs. Installers call Skar Skarbage. I don't guess distortion and thud really matters to you as long as you're loud 😂 I had 2 Skar 12's and they were loud and had decent bass tones at certain frequencies but when my buddy put them on his 3500 watt Skar amp, they were no louder than my 2 PR 15's on a Memphis 1200d.1 amp. It's y'alls money...I sold my buddy his system back. 3500 watt Skar amp, 2 Skar 12's in the Skar enclosure, for $400. If you wanna spend a lot of money and be loud AND clean, get Sundown.
