Thank goodness Wisconsin SWA was postponed to a Friday this time around! After hearing some plans change, I made it over to Livingston with Holly, Mitchell, and Drew for this awesome 2016. The wind was still very strong, so sorry about that, couldn't do much about that I'm afraid. 1:45 rolled around, and the test message is sent out, but we still had to wait around. After giving dispatch a call we found out Grant County had to wait for Platteville to conduct their test, but eventually, le boop fired up.
This thing had no business being as loud is it, regardless of age! I included some B-roll to spice things up, and some of the workers across the street appear to be volunteer firefighters as they were booking it to the station. Made us wonder if the Whelen is also a fire siren. Enjoy, and I hope you had a fun-filled SWA!
