I had one in the 80s it had an acoms in army green radio gear i messed about with its weight distribution with lead weights on the front it drove better but was a tad slower lol love the vid it brought back a lot of good memories I was realy into tamaya rc cars back then and had pretty much all of them from the 70s to the 90s .

I loved seeing that vintage Wild Willy run around!! It can see where these would be a real handful to drive around with all the weight in the back like it is but it certainly looks fun for just romping around!!! Thanks for sharing such a cool and highly sought after car out on the the track! It made me smile!!

Fantastic machine. Was a real novelty at the time following the more conventional SRBs (Sand Scorcher, Superchamp etc.) and I remember it being incredibly robust and having decent acceleration considering its weight!

I just got one of these today, it'sin prety goodcondition but missing the radio and no battery so im going to try to find thatstuff and hopefully do some wild wheelies myself, too cool

I personally hated it when I had one back in the day, the wheelie just made it a one trick pony.

I have a set of vintage wild Willy wheels and tires with foam inserts all assembled never used
